This deck is about sacrificing creature to strengthen my position. I decided on blood ghast as a renewable source of creatures to sacrifice as much as possible. Viscera seer is a cheep sac outlet I can produce early in the game and helps me insure that my draw is the most valuable it can be. Bloodflow connoiseur is a bit expensive for what she does but I like the permanent bonus she gains over the temporary buffs others achieve. Fallenrath aristocrats fills the roll of a final tier of sac outlet being big strong and hard to get rid of. Blood artist and kalastria highborn fill similar roles but blood artist is a little more reliable. In my search for death triggers I found blade of the bloodchief which turned out to be far more useful than I ever expected. Every vampire I have becomes fearsome after I sac a couple creatures when that's on the field. Gravepact helps make up for the fact that I'm constantly killing my own creatures by insuring that they do it too while inadvertently getting around hexproof. Act of treason not only let's me take their threats to use them against them but also gives me more targets to sacrifice. With all the death in my deck the morbid on tragic slip is almost constantly active giving me an easily accessible 1 mana kill spell. Doom blade is a superb piece of removal and answers a lot of threats. Miren the moaning well was the only land in modern in could find to be a reliable sac outlet and it does a good bit to sustain me if my opponent is laying on the beats too much. Verdan catacombs fixes my mana and gives me multiple landfall triggers for my bloodghasts. Olivia Voldaren is a great card she kills my opponents things and takes their creatures to provide me with more targets to sacrifice. Not to mention that if she isn't answered she'll win games on her own. My sideboard is not super well thought out yet as I am new to building them, I would appreciate any suggestions that might help me make my deck stronger.
