What would you replace in the deck for test of endurance?

Also thought about Archfiend of Despair in the deck

Hellvetti_The_Lord_of_Riots Felidar Sovereign does the same as Test of Endurance so you could swap them if you want the enchant version more or I've really been considering dropping Debtors' Knell from the deck. It is just too late in the game for a deck that doesn't really care about returning creatures very much.
The archfiend would be awesome in the deck too I just haven't gotten around to picking any up. I want one for this and my Dungeon Of The Occult. Not too sure what would come out for him though. Maybe Wound Reflection, how much of this effect is actually needed in one deck? More likely something else would come out though.

Solitary Confinement is a solid pillow fort card and with the Monarch you still draw

Also i strongly suggest Solemnity, because it works wonders with Glacial Chasm!

FTWinchester and Hipparchos thanks for liking the deck and commenting with your thoughts. Those are both pillows I had forgotten I wanted to try out... So double thanks for the reminders, lol. Solitary Confinement should replace Orbs of Warding... The orbs are nice but confinement is just better. And Solemnity goes with like a half a dozen or more pillow fort cards I swear... I might have to re-do a big part of the deck just to fully take advantage of solemnity.

Solemnity also prevents poison counters from building up on you, and an inclusion of Phyrexian Unlife in conjuntion might add a bit of redundancy to make you virtually unkillable. ;)
Interesting take on Marchesa, I like this deck a lot.

I love this deck. Only thing is the organization. It kinda messes with me that you have a land card in the pillow sections, and a planeswalker in the land section. But you do you.

DangoDaikazoku I'm glad I didn't get around to completing the order of cards, Unlife could be fun to toy with.
Grandmaster5327 the chandra was placed kinda randomly because she does so much, it just so happens that when I play her the ability is usually the most useful... Glacial Chasm and Maze of Ith don't make mana but are strong pillow effects so that is why they fall under the pillow category rather than the mana one. Hope that reasoning makes sense to more than just me.
Glad you guys are liking the deck.
October 3, 2018 12:16 p.m.
Grandmaster5327 I believe DrukenReaps' organization is appropriate. Both Glacial Chasm and Maze of Ith are pillow staple cards, as they prevent attackers from getting through and dealing damage to you. Also note that the "land" section you mentioned is actually categorized as "mana" instead, and Chandra, Torch of Defiance produces mana, so these cards are accurately categorized for their roles in this deck.

I'm going to be removing the 'lifegain' specific cards from this deck because I'm making a lifegain/token deck and I would like to make room for more 'bleed' and 'pillow' cards. So the following will come out to make room for some of the recent suggestions and other things I've been looking at:
Sanguine Bond, Vona, Butcher of Magan, Alhammarret's Archive, Words of Worship, Vizkopa Guildmage, Venser's Journal, Exquisite Blood, Aetherflux Reservoir
I'm not sure about all the additions as of yet so it might be awhile before this change happens.

the Sanguine Bond, Alhammarret's Archive, Vizkopa Guildmage, and Exquisite Blood work perfectly. So you gain One life, Alhammarret's archive doubles that. Then Vizkopa Guildmage does that same as Sanguine Bond. Resulting in then losing 4 life and then Exquisite Blood kicks in and you gain 4 life and repeat this process. Ultimately ending in and infinite combo. So I say go for it.

Grandmaster5327 I'm not sure I understand you. Those cards are in the deck and I am removing them. They preform very well mind you I just think they will be better else where.

I've now had 2 games where I've gotten zo-zu out. The first time he was late to the game and did nothing and the second game he was on turn 3 and I was 3rd in the turn order out of 5 people. He did a lot of work since he stuck around for a good 5-7 turns and people had to play their accel which was things like Solemn Simulacrum. That said it is very obvious that Zo-Zu the Punisher and Ankh of Mishra need to be in play as early as possible to be any good. I will likely replace them with things that are more effective throughout the game.

Is there a reason why you don't run Bloodchief Ascension? Seems like it would be a beast in this deck.

Older20 I keep forgetting about it... lol. I have one I was using in a mill deck but I retired that deck so now I don't even have an excuse.

Older20 after my experience with Zo-Zu the Punisher being only good in the early part of the game I don't think polluted bonds would be worth while. It is a little unfortunate but those effects have to come down in the first 4 turns otherwise everyone looks at it grumbles a little and just doesn't play the lands that they don't need.

Heya DrukenReaps, since about 1/4 your deck is all legendary, have you thought about using Honor-Worn Shaku as a way to break parity and making use of your legendary permanents?

DrukenReaps says... #25
Huh, I hadn't stopped to count the legends... Especially now that walkers are also legends that could be really good here.
DrukenReaps says... #1
Older20 most the people I play with like to play slow-ish decks and we don't really start playing much until turn 4 or so in many cases. By then it is pretty easy to have 1 or 2 pillows out. I also have some rather good accel out of some of the cards under the mana section. Sword of the Animist and Dowsing Dagger Flip are great in the early game, no one blocks Marchesa unless they have to. That said I've been looking at reducing the average CMC with some of the things in the maybe list.
