Good point. And the Swine lets you extend into a stronger mid/later game.

Bloodrush does not have to be performed on an attacking creature, As far as I know, it is played at instant speed and lasts the entire turn.
February 15, 2013 10:14 p.m.
If you look at all of the cards in this deck they all say "Target attacking creature".
February 16, 2013 10:42 a.m.
Ok, my bad. I must've read over it, and did not realize.

I'd recommend dropping Skinbrand Goblin and replacing it with a real creature like Experiment One
February 16, 2013 9:22 p.m.
I think Spire Tracer would be a better option considering he won't be able to evolve the Experiment One too often.

i think that Skinbrand Goblin can be raplaced for Burning-Tree Emissary , Skarrg Guildmage or even Rakdos Cackler

A turn 1 Arbor Elf paves the way for a turn 2 Wild Beastmaster which makes for an interesting 3rd turn Strangleroot Geist with a spare mana to bloodrush or add Giant Growth to pump Beastmaster before attacking.
Just a few thoughts on cards to consider.

Or on turn 3 play a Burning-Tree Emissary followed by a Lightning Mauler then attack with all three. Maybe pump up the beastmaster to do like 17.

Yuujinnio: "Turn 4 Azorius Charm ..."
Turn 1, Rapid Hybridization /Unsummon .
Turn 2, Azorius Charm .
Turn 3, Safe Passage .
Turn 4 Snapcaster Mage Azorius Charm , etc. etc.
This deck seems weak, but maybe I'd need to play against it to understand. Either way, I'm disappointed that it was advertised to me.
February 20, 2013 2:52 p.m.
In regards to the Azorius Charm . If you pump the Wild Beastmaster the bonus would still apply either way since it's still attacking.
February 20, 2013 2:59 p.m.
You would have to play the charm before attackers were announced. Better would be to morbid Tragic Slip the beastmaster and give all of their creatures -x/-x, lol.
February 20, 2013 3:07 p.m.
Azorius Charm bounces an, "attacking creature" which is Zurnic's point. Regardless, though, Bloodrush isn't very efficient, which is my point.
February 20, 2013 3:22 p.m.
And yes, a Morbid triggered Tragic Slip would wipe this board. lol

No Scorchwalker ? Bloodrushing him will allow you to be much more aggressive.
@MTGNoobs: Bloodrush is about versatility. The fact that he can use many of these creatures in either capacity is what makes it good. If he's low on creatures he can play it as a creature. If the enemy is low on health or makes a bad block decision, he's can exploit that. And he can accomplish both with the same card which is great card advantage.
Sometimes having a combat trick up your sleeve is more important than having a dude on the table.
