You want fetch lands that can bring into play untapped, such as Bloodstained Mire and Polluted Delta. Victim of night isn't great with Kalitas everywhere. Drown in sorrow to me is a sideboard card. Grasp of darkness is outclassed by Tragic Slip and Dismember. I'd invest in a set of Bloodghast and a single Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, bring Captivating Vampire up to 4. As much as I love Pulse Tracker, I'd just use 4 Lacerators. And a 4th Nocturnus will add a lot of power. Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet is one of the best creatures in modern right now, I'd try to get 2, though he's expensive.

I see. Is go for the troath a good replacement for victim of night? What will i remove to give space for a set of bloodghast?

YamishiTheWickedOneI updates the deck with what i have now. Im saving up for the set of bloodstained mire and polluted delta as well as the set of bloodghast :) what do u suggest to do with my updated main board and sideboard?

Yeah, I'd use go for the throat, but that needs to be sided out vs.affinity. If you scroll through my comments on my deck, I recall typing out a pretty long list of sideboard tech.
I'd drop 1 thoughtseize and the sign in bloods for more instant speed creature hate. I'd also swap the pulse trackers for more lacerators and lower blood artist to 2 to add 1 more nocturnus and captivating. Possibly swap artist altogether for Kalastria Highborn. I might just say lose the trackers/lacerators for bloodghast, though I'm very iffy on only 4 1 mana creatures.

YamishiTheWickedOneOh i see :) what choices are the best "instant speed creature hate"?

Tragic Slip, Dismember, Go for the Throat, Hero's Downfall, Funeral Charm and maybe Doom Blade are the best mainboard options in monoblack. This is why rakdos or golgari are so much better honestly. Lightning Bolt is THE best card in modern. Rakdos vamps also have Terminate, a much better 2 mana kill spell, and Kolaghan's Command, which has built in discard or kills 2 cards vs. affinity, as well as Rakdos Charm, one of the best sideboard cards ever made. Golgari has Abrupt Decay for instant speed, Maelstrom Pulse is sorcery speed and they have access to sideboard Golgari Charm, Back to Nature and Krosan Grip.
Technically speaking, Liliana of the Veil is removal, but if you're monoblack I assume she's out of your price range. If you had the space you could use a single Ob Nixilis Reignited if you wanna try out a walker.

Of course. I have 4 modern decks now but that one is the deck I'm famous for and has always been my main.
October 8, 2016 2:26 p.m.
YamishiTheWickedOneI see, i really like the vampire themed deck. Gotta save up for all those expensive cards though :) is bloodghast very important in a vampire deck? Im a bit confused on how it will work for this deck

He serves the role of being able to bounce back after getting hit with a Damnation, Wrath of God or Supreme Verdict basically, or Pyroclasm if you don't have lords out. Same with Mutavault, and he synergizes well with Viscera Seer, Kalitas and artist/highborn. He's super resilient vs hand disruption, Liliana and other forms of removal, renders them forcing you to sacrifice useless.

YamishiTheWickedOne i see how powerful the bloodghast is. Which creatures does it replace?

maybe the trackers and lacerators... I really hate the idea of giving up all that early game momentum but he's kinda important. Or, alternatively, ditch 1 artist, 2 seers and 1 thoughtseize, see how it plays. This is a shift to being more aggressive.

YamishiTheWickedOne i see, thanks a lot man :) big help.
October 9, 2016 midnight
YamishiTheWickedOne hi again bro, is it really worth it to spend for bloodstained mire and polluted delta for this deck? :)

Absolutely. expanse and wilds are WAY too slow.
October 10, 2016 6:15 a.m.
I got the set of bloodstained mire. Now im confused in what to prioritize. Should i invest for bloodghast or second set of fetch lands? And also is my sideboard ok? :) YamishiTheWickedOne

Get the fetches first, they thin your deck and force shuffles for Nocturnus. What I would side:
1x Drown in Sorrow, 2x Bile Blight or 2x Smother, 3x Deathmark or Self-Inflicted Wound, 2x Dragon's Claw, 3x Ratchet Bomb, 2x Ghost Quarter and 2x Surgical Extraction OR 2x Torpor Orb and 2x Pithing Needle.
Memoricide is also an option or extra Dismembers

It's a damn good card but it kinda screws up your ghasts.
October 11, 2016 3:37 a.m.
YamishiTheWickedOne hey man comsidering ill change my terramorphic expanse to set of polluted deltas. What do u think are the best lands i could add for my mono black vampires? (Let me know the quantity )

YamishiTheWickedOne says... #24
Just swamps mostly. If you want a few utility lands, your best options are a single Mutavault and 1-2 Cavern of Souls, but those are expensive. Ghost Quarter or Tectonic Edge are an option. You don't really need any of these in monocolor though.
October 13, 2016 3:03 p.m.
YamishiTheWickedOne ohh i see i might be putting ghost quarter on my sideboard.
