A super low to the ground aggro deck with almost every card generating value!
Creatures:
Siren Stormtamer This card is an amazing turn one play, it protects our creatures later and can poke in the early game.
Metallic Mimic A metal pirate! Buffs our mateys and forces removal from the opponent.
Fathom Fleet Captain A simple pirate making dude! Menace lets him get in early game, and hopefully pump out a pirate or two.
Kitesail Freebooter Removal in opponent's hand? Not anymore; at least until she dies... Still an awesome tempo play that can poke in the sky.
The Scarab God
Midrange out valuing you? What can Temur energy do versus this? Lots of decks are playing this dude now, and for good reason. Pirate ETBs again? YES!
Ruin Raider Bob in standard? Every time you attack, get a free card draw, what's 2-3 damage a turn anyways? (Not sure on how many should go in, risk vs reward is so high though!)
Hostage Taker NOBODY MOVE, Your best creature is now mine! If they do not have a removal spell this card alone could win you the game, such a huge swing in power.
Daring Saboteur Another card draw engine, skip the lands, play more pirates!
Spells:
Opt The second best turn one card in our deck, a perfect card to find pretty much any time in the game because you can most likely play the card it draws.
Lookout's Dispersal Upgraded mana leak! As long as you control a pirate of course... So cheap you could play a pirate and hold this up turns three and up!
Fatal Push Does it really need to be explained? Kills Longtusk Cub, Heart of Kiran, and every other spooky thing from turns one to four.
Sideboard: (I have no idea what to do here, no meta for Ixalan yet)
Sentinel Totem Against enemy Scarab God?
Vraska's Contempt Exiles everything Fatal Push can't kill.
Spell Pierce A sometimes better Negate, I decided to do a split between the two
Walk the Plank Some more anti-dino, I mean, big stuff.
Entrancing Melody Or just steal the big stuff?
Negate Say no to board wipes, planeswalkers, all that jazz.
Duress Seriously, you lose to board wipes get rid of them.
Lost Legacy Hate something your opponent has? Get rid of it, within the cards limits.
Lands:
I feel like they are all pretty self explanatory, all the U/B Lands in Ixalan Standard, I hate that Fetid Pools enters tapped, but the cycling is very nice later.
Still brewing for Ixalan but I'm super excited for all of the tribes and just excitement this expansion is generating. Please help me make this deck better; constructive criticism is welcome and greatly appreciated! Have a great day.
