Mono-blue has been notably missing in the current format, and I'm trying to bring it back. Sideboard help is needed (tell me how to beat your decks ;) ), and maybe ideas for the Battlefield Thaumaturge slots (though cheap Hour of Need s are pretty sweet.

How to play: It's a mono-blue aggro synergy deck that doesn't play particularly fair. Early on (turns 1-4), you try to clear their board of creatures by trading aggressively, helping your creatures survive through Triton Tactics if you have it, or shutting down their presence with Singing Bell Strike or Retraction Helix . Turn 4/5 is where things can diversify. If it's safe, you can Master of Waves for 3 or 4 (10-ish damage if unblocked), or slay with early 4/4 fliers.

Key Synergies:

Daring Thief + Master of Waves : they get a dead token, you get a creature.

Daring Thief + Retraction Helix : Helps tap when attacking isn't viable. Daring Thief + Triton Tactics can do pretty much the same thing, survivability-wise, plus you get a free trade pre blocker assignments.

Battlefield Thaumaturge + Hour of Need : What's better than an army of 2/1's? A very cheap army of 4/4 fliers!

Master of Waves + Vortex Elemental : OK, admittedly lame, but 1/2's can do damage in a pinch.

Artisan of Forms + Master of Waves : Yay for instant speed +1/+1 to elemental creatures.

And Master of Waves + Singing Bell Strike : Extra devotion on what essentially is a Doom Blade on the clock I intend to represent.

Ok. I acknowledge that Daring Thief is not the right choice for most people's mainboard spots. However, in my metagame, it is actually a game-winner all by itself. Thanks to willb32764 for making this even more viable. And to others: you should probably side out Thief for the 3-drop of your choice, or anything that works in those slots. But in this deck, it just works too well to change it.
