Built this bad boy back in dominaria standard to combat my local control meta, the thing is cheap and does a pretty good job against a lot of decks, though it has trouble against some. The deck was mainly built as a cheap way to beat control, and while it does beat control sometimes, control is still control, and it's never a 100% advantage.

I mean, the deck is literally built to fight control. Usually does pretty well, but can lose to enchantment removal and turbo fog. Important cards are Kopala, Warden of Waves, Spell Pierce, and Deeproot Waters (targeting our own creatures). Sideboards will always depend on the exact kind of decks and players you're up against, but some generally good cards against control are Chart a Course and Negate.
Surprisingly, my local meta doesn't have much aggro so I don't get much practice against it, but from what I have played, Deeproot Waters is good at making blockers while Mist-Cloaked Herald goes under enemy blockers to slowly whittle away your opponent while various other cards stall for you. I think Essence Scatter can be good against key pieces like Rekindling Pheonix. Also Unsummon does a good job of delaying big pieces.
