This is a deck that can and will ult Saheeli if given the opportunity. There are a lot of one of artifacts that aren't inherently well costed by themselves, but would be great toolbox grabs from her ult. the optimal 3 artifacts to grab would be Combustible Gearhulk + Panharmonicon +
Multiform Wonder
because of the way Saheeli's ult works, both ETB's will trigger twice, even though the pan is still entering at the same time.
The deck also has a ton of resilience when it comes to grindy matches. We can go a bunch of different ways, we can go infinite with thopters
Notes on the Thopter Combo: The combo with Whirler Virtuoso + Panharmonicon +
Decoction Module
is not an all or nothing combo. Thats what I really like about it. If you are one piece shy of going infinite, you still have brought the cost down to 1 energy per thopter which is a damn good deal.
One card that is severely underrated right now is
Multiform Wonder
. late game with a hefty enough energy storage this card can close out the game and contain any fattys they have. don't underestimate dumping energy to make this a -x +15 flying wall.
since this deck requires a lot of control over draws, plenty of scrying and card filtering is needed, both to make sure we don't draw the artifacts Saheeli needs, and so we do draw our Thopter combo.
In terms of the sideboard, Padeem does some serious work, in grindy matchups. Especially once they sideboard in artifact hate that now cannot be used.
