This is a quick Simic deck I put together- as with most (if not all) of my decks, out of spare parts. Any constructive criticism is welcomed~

Thallid Shell-Dweller is a good way to populate tokens to feed to Plaguemaw Beast in order to proliferate +1/+1 counters on the creatures who will have been given them. Lumberknot is also an excellent creature with this combination- because something being sacrificed is, in terms of this card, the same thing as something dying.

There's quite a mana gap between Thallid Shell-Dweller and Plaguemaw Beast , but in the meantime, Bond Beetle can provide counters cheaply and quickly, the same as Slitherhead can with its costless scavenging.

The reason for Sapphire Drake is fairly obvious- provides flying to all creatures I control with a +1/+1 counter. Y/y?

Bioshift allows me to make sure that all of my creatures have +1/+1 counters on them, which is generally helpful.

Armored Cancrix and Kraken Hatchling are both fairly strong defensive creatures with their base stats, making them excellent for modification.
