New Eldrazi Overlords —March 8, 2016
With the new Meta how it is opted for 2x Naturalize to deal with Chalice of the Void on 1 which a lot of the current Eldrazi decks are running sideboard. I believe that Bogles can outrace Eldrazi 2nd game if you have Leyline of Sanctity and Naturalize to deal with their Chalice of the Void. I am yet to have vsed Eldrazi with Bogles but will require some testing if our overlords are here to stay for quite a while. I'm also considering Seal of Primordium as it buffs Ethereal Armor as well.
Bovine073 Bogles is a race man is the way I always see it. If you have to slow down a turn to drop a 2 drop equipment and spend another turn equipping it you've lost a lot of valuable time. Battle Mastery is questionable for me because it doesn't allow you to break through unless you have Rancor as well. First Strike is generally more than enough to deal with most creatures double strike doesn't make the damage carry over without Trample. To me burn decks are an ever present threat I only run 2 3cmc cards because they allow me to gain life and trample over I can't see Battle Mastery being good enough in a lot of cases.

Bovine073 Here's a scenario for you. Ok you've made the game drag on until t10+ you aren't drawing many threats so you have the flail out and a bogle. You cast Ethereal Armor and then cast Daybreak Coronet and equip the flail. You go in to swing against a Tarmogoyf sitting there, this is where it all turns bad, they Abrupt Decay your Ethereal Armor getting a 2 for one on your coronet as well and your bogle dies to a 5/6 Goyf. Then the Goyf swings in and wins. There are situations it can be good but you are not playing bogles to make the game last long lol. Basically you're a t1 all in deck the flail just slows you down far too much and doesn't provide any real benefit. That's the best way I can put it.

Another bogles player here (knowing you have experience with the deck), what would you think about Battle Mastery and/or Inquisitor's Flail? I have added a mastery into my deck (and am considering flail)... what are your thoughts?
Inquisitor's Flail Pros/Cons:
Pros: mana can be paid across 2 turns, survives boardwipes, and you have first strike 95% of the time so there isn't really much downside. Also combos with Spirit Link even further. Would be used as a 1-2x of for late game purposes. (as it stacks to 4x damage and works with double strike).
Cons: 4 mana. No color issues, though.
Helm of the Gods is actually another equipment I mainboard (2 of), due to it basically being a crappy Ethereal Armor, but better than a Spirit Link.
Thanks (and sorry for the bit of text). Hope you enjoy.
