This is a budget version of a modern budget deck. What you see is what is currently whats assembled, still very much in the works. Mesa Enchantress is currently taking the place of Kor Spiritdancer , which I realize is so much better. Abundant Growth is taking space as a card cycle that pumps up Ethereal Armor , very replaceable, especially if/when I get the money for Daybreak Coronet . Witchbane Orb will eventually be replaced by Leyline of Sanctity , and Path to Exile will eventually make its way into the deck somewhere. Fetches are a long way off for me monetarily, but they will eventually make their way in, along with Dryad Arbor to help prevent edict effects. Opinions on Spirit Loop vs Spirit Link would be appreciated, I like how Spirit Loop comes back to you from the grave, but costs extra. Also, opinions on the need for Spirit Mantle would be good as well, is it needed with so much trample and first strike? Also, please note that everything listed in the maybeboard is more than things I am considering, but things I am actively trying to acquire that are withing my means. And is Brushland /Razorverge Thicket any better than Sunpetal Grove , if so why?

Exactly! And Slippery Bogle is even a little better than Gladecover Scout . Though in your deck its as good as Gladecover Scout unless your opponent has a card that makes all lands islands in addition to their other types.

Instead of the 4x Abundant Growth maybe 4 Fertile Ground or Trace of Abundance or Selesnya Signet

Those are neat suggestions, and i will keep them in mind when playing, but Abundant Growth isn't in here for acceleration, it's mostly a card cycle that allows me to both fix my mana colors if need be and boost Ethereal Armor . The big plus is also that this is a 1 drop. Also on a side note, I might end up splashing blue in for more creatures to use (Invisible Stalker ) and Curiosity as a cheaper Keen Sense

lol, yes it does show 62 cards. My actual deck does only contain 60, and a full 15 sideboard. I think I removed some Mesa Enchantress ? Ill have to update the decklist again to be sure. As for only 3 things having totem armor, Im actually working on that, I am still looking for people to trade with me, and just havent found any. Im holding off atm on buying them online, since most of the cost I would be paying is in shipping. Thank you for the concern though, any suggestions you might have that I could be on the look for, and I mean aside from "the bogle deck", I am well aware of what is in that one, and am working slowly towards it, lol.

Don't add Ajani, Spirit Loop is better than Spirit Link even though it costs one more because it does return and it will help even your mana curve. Happy deck building.

Thanks for the input anvildust! I unfortunately already ordered 4 Spirit Link but they're cheap and Im sure Ill find something for them later. However, Im not sure if I can or should try and fit Spirit Loop into the deck. Any thoughts on if I should drop something or not?

If you already ordered the links don't worry about it. I don't really play green so I don't have to much advice for you but there are better cards than Abundant Growth and I think you might want to add one more creature set in exchange for them. Maybe Kor Spiritdancer .

Thats my plan atm, Kor Spiritdancer just seems to keep going up in price, and as of right now it seems a little out of range. Another I had in mind of replacing them with would be Keen Sense , those are also a little pricey, but much more doable.

I see this is budget. ASAP you nedd Daybreak Coronet . I would also suggest getting some Razorverge Thicket , if you get them early then great! If you get them later then you probably didn't need the mana anyways. I would also put some Nature's Claim , and Path to Exile in the sideboard

Lol, I know I need Daybreak Coronet , but if I can hardly spring for Kor Spiritdancer , the Coronets are a long way off. As for the Razorverge Thicket , yeah, that probably is something else I should add in as well, is Nature's Claim that much better than Disenchant though? I would typically prefer not to be giving them life, it may not really matter, but still, one more mana isnt too much? And Path to Exile is also on my list of things to get. I updated my deck list to reflect what I want this deck to look like in the near future, though Im not sure how soon. Maybe I should add in the Daybreak Coronet s just to keep people from reminding me about them lol

I HIGHLY suggest swapping Silhana Ledgewalker out for Invisible Stalker . Plus, consider adding the last Kor Spiritdancer . This is your ONLY card draw. I have a very similar deck and board wipes before your totem armor enchantments is game over. Here's my take on it, however I am now consider swapping out my Hyena Umbra for your Spider Umbra . Maybe you can help decide for me(: Anyways, here it is for reference.

What do you call something this Ridiculous?

Im really iffy about introducing blue into my mana base. I would like to experiment some with it, but since Im just starting out in modern, its going to take me a little while to get a feel for the deck. Its certainly something Ive considered, especially since I dont yet own Keen Sense , and I have a playset of Curiosity sitting in my room. I think Silhana Ledgewalker should be unblockable most of the time, since creatures with reach cant stop it, and I havent seen many fliers in modern except spirit tokens from Lingering Souls (please correct me if Im forgetting any). And even then, my guy should have trample, and be huge by then.
