Since I feel like you're going Vorthos with this deck, I'd recommend focussing on a Cruel Control theme using the Nicol Bolas instead. Currently I feel as though your deck could be a lot more focussed.

Cut: Reef Worm, Treasure Nabber, Dreamscape Artist, Loyal Apprentice, Forge of Heroes, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Mystifying Maze, Night Incarnate, Yahenni, Undying Partisan

Add: Counterspells, draw and hard boardwipes such as Crux of Fate.

Thx for the feedback toastySmorc, though, while I feel original Nicol Bolas would make this deck alot more succinct, I fell in love with the task of making the newer Nicol Bolas, the Ravager  ^Flip into a good deck. Why do you recommend cutting the lands you did? I assume you are suggesting replacing them with normal lands? I have also been questioning cutting the same creatures with the exception of Yahenni but couldn't decide lol.

Yea just replace them with basics or other multi lands. I just feel the new Nicol Bolas doesn't do enough.

Heh, it's been awhile. Thank you for the suggestions on my deck, sorry I promised I'd get to this and didn't get back to it sooner. Awesome build, loving the theft theme of the deck.

• Torment of Hailfire ; it feels alright to run, but I'd consider playing Exsanguinate . It does one job and does it well, and gives you a bit of insurance.
• Liliana, Dreadhorde General and Chandra, Awakened Inferno are incredibly powerful planeswalkers, and if that's what you need them for, heck, that's a good enough reason. However, they ain't really on theme; maybe Geth, Lord of the Vault instead? Same high-end cost, similar powerful presence, and really supports what you want to do. Etali, Primal Storm , Sepulchral Primordial , Diluvian Primordial , and Wrexial, the Risen Deep are all awesome big drops as well.
• Mystic Remora or Rhystic Study is a great question, however, even through Remora's sucky cumulative upkeep and not hitting creatures, it does still only drop for 1 mana.
• And my personal favorite, Herald of Leshrac . Kinda Jank, but ahh, it's so good.
