Nicol Bolas sets his next plans in motion...

This is one of my most weird and most interesting brews. The base 60 cards is an Oathbreaker deck built around Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God and Dark Intimations that can be played as a casual 60-card deck as well. Where it gets interesting is that it is also part of a cycle of decks that I built to be played in an Archenemy game of Bolas vs. the Gatewatch.

In addition to this, there are 25 cards that can be added to the deck from my collection of EDH staples which, along with the sideboard cards, can be used to convert the deck into a full-fledged EDH deck! While it may not be the most powerful deck, I was proud of myself for building this thematic and modular deck that I can use in multiple formats.

This isn’t an optimized build with a lot of choices made for flavor but it is a fun build that can make some decent plays occasionally.
