Getting to play with this deck was an absolute blast. Even though I wish I had some of the non-budget bombs, this is probably my favorite EDH deck; even moreso than my non-budget ones. The politics and dynamics of the game that go on when playing this deck make for a much more fun game all around. Sure it doesn't win as much as Daretti, Roon, or Jarad, but it's FUN.
So, in the spirit of fun, I've decided to remove Arcane Laboratory. My original thinking with this card was "well since my cards cost so much, I can only play one card at a time anyways; so my opponents won't be able to combo off and I will stay unaffected." As it turns out, if Braids gets removed (which she usually does) no one can really do anything. You'll never cast Braids again (because that's your only spell for the turn and you don't benefit until your next turn) and it just turns into a cycle of bomb -> removal -> bomb -> removal until players run out of bombs/removals or Arcane Laboratory gets destroyed. Since this wasn't very fun, I put in Strionic Resonator instead; which at least makes it more fun for you ;).
Side note: Arcanis the Omnipotent is legal in this format because a printing of it is under $2 (the Duel Decks one). I have it specifically listed as the Duel Decks printing but the price still reflects the Onslaught version of him.
