Do you enjoying dumping tons of cheap creatures on the battlefield and throwing around +1/+1 counters like candy? Don't have endless financial reserves? Then this deck is for you. The setup is pretty straightforward. This deck produces +1/+1 counters by the boatload, and we're going to abuse that with Hardened Scales. Avatar of the Resolute, Experiment One and Predator Ooze are going to beef up and explode into unblockable horror. Almost all of the deck's creatures cost 3 mana or less, are a downright nuisance to get rid of because of indestructible or regenerate, and they all produce +1/+1 counters in one way or another. Once the counter train gets rolling, few things will stop it.

The onedrops all work together well with the stompy guys by making them bigger. Experiment One and Servant of the Scale all benefit immensely from Hardened Scales. Undying and evolving creatures work especially well in this deck, because rather than getting the plain old +1/+1, they'll get beefed into 3/3 creatures in one go with a Hardened Scales out, with minimal effort.

The two-drops hit fast and hard, and are undercosted for what they do in this deck. Strangleroot Geist is a pain in the ass at the best of times, and a nightmare to deal with when Scales is out on the table, putting lots of pressure on your opponent. Avatar of the Resolute is the real beast of the deck, though. Even when hardened scales isn't on the table, it will get big. There is almost never a time when you don't want to cast this guy. Drawing and playing multiples isn't even a problem so long as there's even a single counter on the table. These guys are a force multiplier from hell.

The stompiest creature in the deck is Predator Ooze. Indestructable combined with constant growth is nuts. If you've got a Hardened Scales out when you attack with this guy, it's only a matter of time before it becomes big enough to end the game. It will be an instant 3/3 when it first attacks, and it will grow to 5/5 if it got chump blocked. Slap on a Rancor and go to town.

Nylea, God of the Hunt is basically a deck wide anthem, granting trample to your huge dudes. It's extremely easy to get on the table as a creature, though, because this deck has green devotion up the wazoo.

Hardened Scales is obviously what makes the deck work. You'll usually want to mulligan until you start out with one of these puppies in your hand, but you don't really have to, since the deck has a very low mana curve.

Vines of Vastwood is your best bet to protect key creatures, or disrupt your opponent. It also doubles as a pump spell. What's not to like?

Rancor is Rancor. This deck wants trample, and lots of it.

Prey Upon and Beast Within are the deck's only removal, which is rather limited, I admit. Then again, this deck likes stomping things, not countering things. It has the tools to ignore defenses.

tezzeret's gamble is a good way to add multiple counters to all your creatures, depending on how many copies of Hardened Scales you managed to get on the table. It's a decent way to grab a little bit of card advantage.

The singleton Revenge of the Hunted is just good fun. If cast for its miracle cost early on, it's usually a one-sided board wipe. Also a wonderful way to get rid of blockers; cast it on something indestructible and go to town. There's only one copy in the deck, because you don't really want to start out the game with one of these in your hand. Though it's possible to hardcast it for 6 mana, should the game drag on.

If you've got the cards lying around, give this deck a try. It's a lot of a fun to pilot, despite its obvious weaknesses. It's cheap, it's wacky, and you'll need a fist full of dice to keep track of all your counters.

Please leave suggestions to make this thing run even smoother. I love everything you guys have to say. :)

Updates Add

I've added 4 Experiment Ones, and they work like a charm. Absolutely amazing in combination with the rest of the deck.

I'm still extremely lacking in the removal department, but this deck is supposed to be full on aggro, and manages to slug on into midrange.

One thing I did notice is that Champion of Lambholt is just so damn weak. She dies to everything. I mean, the interaction with everything else in the deck is nice, but a 1/1 for 3 mana is just painful. I'm looking for alternatives to give my guys trample or other ways to make them unblockable.
