The typical win-con is having a 1/1 zombie token from
Callous Dismissal
cast from an earlier turn, then casting
Invade the City
pumping the token. Make it unblockable with
Suspicious Bookcase
, or trample with
Crash Through
or just give them the
Thud
.
You can always
Mission Briefing
To get any thump/trample spells if they are in your graveyard, and use it to double
Invade the City
to get that token up to that lovely +20/+20 power (if your
Expansion / Explosion
was already used on something else.)
Use
Expansion / Explosion
to copy based on your situation:
If you need more removal
Lava Coil
,
Callous Dismissal
If you want lots of cards
Chart a Course
get more copying
Tormenting Voice
because you don't need to discard for the copy.
Only have 3 mana
Opt
Need to do 20 damage this turn
Invade the City
Crackling Drake
also has a tendency to get out of hand very quickly, which is any time.
Remember you can use
Saheeli, Sublime Artificer
to make a servo into a
Crackling Drake
right after you cast him for a nasty surprise..
In play testing I found
God-Eternal Kefnet
a lot more useful than
Murmuring Mystic
, especially since he can be put 3rd from the top of your library when he dies.
If the card quantities look odd like only have 2 of any decent strong cards, it is because you only realistically need 2 of those, any more you are very likely to get flooded with them. I never had any issue not finding a 4 drop after a couple nice digs.
Not that I made this deck to be budget, but it would cost less than $80 without the dual lands.. and run fairly smooth without them.
