@yourdeckisdeeplyflawed (lol at that username) I have thought about Dual CastingMTG Card: Dual Casting and I probably wont be including it just because I have to have a creature to tag it onto. When this deck gets late game I start saccing my own creatures to get morbid or swinging at the opponent knowing they will block and kill them. All of this death on my side means it rarely have 1-2 creatures out late game so trying to throw dual casting on something could get very tricky.

@Miracle I am not impressed. Miracle is a mechanic that I'm reallllllly not liking because of the random chance involved. Something to remember about me is I am VERY unlucky. Whenever I play my decks at tournaments they always start misbehaving and I get opening hands like 3x HellriderMTG Card: Hellrider 3x Koth of the HammerMTG Card: Koth of the Hammer 1x mountain right after a table shuffle. If you have a card that purposefully makes you rely on luck all I see is a liability.

@Nazsmith Cavern of SoulsMTG Card: Cavern of Souls is certainly something I want but it's something that I'm going to wait a while to pick up until it's price has stabilized.

Tunnel IgnusMTG Card: Tunnel Ignus instead of Grafdigger's CageMTG Card: Grafdigger's Cage for anti ramp?

I think this deck would be a good deck in a different meta. It probably struggles with several match ups intodays world though.

Check out my deck!

Actually when I was over in north Carolina I played against a meta who would do nothing but net deck. They run delver, zombies, pod, huntmaster wolfrun, and wolfrun ramp even mono green beats, cruel control, and esper haunted humans. This deck went 4-0 on multiple occasions and has beaten them all easily. (When the deck isn't crapping on me.)

Excellent archetypal goblin deck. +1 from me. I think your sideboard, as it is, is too unreliable to be truly competitive. 7 artifacts is not bad, but if you don't get one, or can't keep one, any Kuldotha RebirthMTG Card: Kuldotha Rebirths are just a waste. I'm not a major player of mono-colored decks, though, so I am not perfectly sure what you would replace it with.

@Croket07 actually no. I.v. can't copy spells I don't control meaning I can't dissapate a dissapate where with reverberates I can.

Yea dream I was thinking of changing it and I'm not quite sure yet. I was thinking of going more planeswalker centeral. Dropping Hellriders for Chandra, the FirebrandMTG Card: Chandra, the Firebrands so on turn 4 I can drop both Koth of the HammerMTG Card: Koth of the Hammer and her and also use her for her -2 later on. When I nail down the sideboard more I plan on making it have a lot more burn which will mean adding Reforge the SoulMTG Card: Reforge the Soul to refill the hand.

OMG! I played at a draft and pulled a foil Reforge the SoulMTG Card: Reforge the Soul and i've tost it into my version of this deck, and let me tell you, it's very, very nice late game, to fill your hand up, i'd suggeast trying to run three. The best thing about it is that you can draw into another one, which allows you to burn through your hand and cast it again.

Yea that was the thought. Dump out my hand then refitted and refill.

BTW, i think you should keep those Hellriders, they're very nice, i've won games where my opponent could have blocked to live, but the HellriderMTG Card: Hellrider alone killed them. Try to find a nice balance between everything, maybe drop all of the Brimstone VolleyMTG Card: Brimstone Volleys + the Pillar of FlameMTG Card: Pillar of Flames and toss in 2 Chandra's and 3 Reforge the souls and add one more IncinerateMTG Card: Incinerate

Nazsmith says... #12

i think that once you pick up those Cavern of SoulsMTG Card: Cavern of Souls there won't be a problem, because you Goblin's will always slide into play with no counterspells being able to touch 'em, so now all you have to worry about is you instant/sorcerys and Koth/Chandra, which , they should figure, SHOULD NEVER be aloud to hit the feild when they place this deck, because they will KILL you without a problem.

I'm talking about siding them out

Nazsmith says... #14

oh, that makes sence, still, the way this deck uses them, they all will kill you if you dont take care of them.

even my self am working on geting 4 Cavern of SoulsMTG Card: Cavern of Souls, nicely i pulled a foiul one XD

May 11, 2012 3:49 p.m.

Nazsmith says... #17

This is my suggestions, fit in three Reforge the SoulMTG Card: Reforge the Souls and pick up 4 Cavern of SoulsMTG Card: Cavern of Souls, side board in 2 Chandras to catch the opponent off gaurd on game two and finally something very intimidating like Chandra copying a Bonfire of the Damned MTG Card: Bonfire of the Damned

Ohthenoises says... #18

Not impressed with miricle in the least. So reforge will be the only one I use because its real cost is right for the turn I want to use it. I'm going to stick with whats been working.

Am i the only one who notices that every time someone posts a deck they made for their girlfriend, it gets tons of notes?

Haha I really did though. Rdw is easy for her to play and she loves the art on goblin grenade lol. The only trick to playing rdw is to know when to switch from aggro to burn.

  • 3 koth +4 shrine of teh burning rage+1 granat
  • 2 hellrider+1 spiekshot

-1 ?+1 brinstone valley

-3 pilar of flame + 3 arc trail

+3 Pilar of flame to sideboard

+4 crush to sideboard becosue it plays aronud mana leaks

May 12, 2012 3:17 a.m.

Ohthenoises says... #23

I hope that was sideboard suggestions [[Fen82] because Koth of the HammerMTG Card: Koth of the Hammer will never leave this deck as he is so overpowered it's not even funny. Pillar of FlameMTG Card: Pillar of Flame is there because of the utility. Shrine of Burning RageMTG Card: Shrine of Burning Rage has been suggested many times here and the reason it is not included is it is slow and more useful for the control variant of red, it might make it into the sideboard but nothing more. Arc TrailMTG Card: Arc Trail just doesn't supply the usefulness I need as I normally don't get swarmed by tokens. HellriderMTG Card: Hellrider is so broken, it's more broken than koth and that's hard to do.

Sorry if it sounds like i'm dismissing everything you're saying but the deck is good as is thanks though.

Interesting enough to say the side board is pretty versatile, with shrine being able to rip up an opponent.

Figured id go for more burn. Koth into chandra is brutal on turn 4.
