March 13, 2012 1:44 p.m.

IncinerateMTG Card: Incinerate not only prevents regeneration, but can be cast at anytime :3

I found that Stormblood BerserkerMTG Card: Stormblood Berserker could fit in here, maybe over the aronist...

I'd rather not add a 2 drop for a 1 drop that and that one damage ping can be devastating to someone who wants to keep their mana ramp alive

March 13, 2012 4:31 p.m.

Nah because for a one drop you either take one or you take one. Mix that with Goblin GrenadeMTG Card: Goblin Grenade for more damage :3

agreed on that. also, look at it this way: Unless they're playing hardcore creature hate that 1/1 will be a 3/2 on the same turn that a Stormblood BerserkerMTG Card: Stormblood Berserker can swing for 3 and yea ok they CAN block it but really? would they? and if they do? not a big deal cause they're probably gonna come out on the worse end of the stick.cause in that case? arsonist can kill a 4/4

Why not use Lightning BoltMTG Card: Lightning Bolt instead of IncinerateMTG Card: Incinerate? It loses the anti-regen but comes at half the price...

also isn't standard lol

If you can find room for Chandra, the FirebrandMTG Card: Chandra, the Firebrand she can be a reusable ReverberateMTG Card: Reverberate at sorcery speed.

+1. Like your deck, I also play goblins but I haven't played magic in a while, the rotation of the Goblin GuideMTG Card: Goblin Guide and Goblin BushwhackerMTG Card: Goblin Bushwhacker meant my deck was pretty useless... why not use Increasing VengeanceMTG Card: Increasing Vengeance instead of reverberate; it's the same cost, same effect and it has flashback. Also it's a straight swap so no need to change your curve to fit Chandra, the FirebrandMTG Card: Chandra, the Firebrand

Ohthenoises says... #15

not the same effect .. wish it was .. it would be broken if it were..ReverberateMTG Card: Reverberate says "copy target spell" Increasing VengeanceMTG Card: Increasing Vengeance says "copy target spell you control" it's to help v.s. counterspells really.. if they cast DissipateMTG Card: Dissipate then I can ReverberateMTG Card: Reverberate it and DissipateMTG Card: Dissipate the DissipateMTG Card: Dissipate

March 14, 2012 3:36 p.m.

Increasing VengeanceMTG Card: Increasing Vengeance is sorcery speed and only works on your spells, compared to ReverberateMTG Card: Reverberate's instant speed and can copy any instant or sorcery.

Ohthenoises says... #17

vengeance is instant speed too.

...forgot to link ReverberateMTG Card: Reverberate in my last comment, anyway, swap it for Increasing VengeanceMTG Card: Increasing Vengeance -better version of the same card. I'm coming back to FNM, I'm also trying goblin deck, explosive goblins, let me know what you think, I like your build, maybe you can help me improve my deck.

serf Increasing VengeanceMTG Card: Increasing Vengeance isn't a better card lol.

March 14, 2012 4:15 p.m.

the list goes on and on) and can be used twice.

True true. I have arc trail here would that be good enough? Or do you still recommend it?

March 14, 2012 6:39 p.m.

arc trail has it's flaws, namely it is sorcery speed so things can happen like delvers getting a Sword of War and PeaceMTG Card: Sword of War and Peace which arc trail won't be able to stop.

Also while arc trail can deal with as many targets as geistflame, both of them would need to be out at the same time where as geistflame's second use can be saved as long as you need it.

So all in all I recommend putting both in your sideboard as each has it's situational advantages

awesome thanks for the logic behind it

haha; must've been hitting lag yesterday, i didn't get any of the comments between my 1st and 2nd; makes me look stupid since in the mean time you explained why ReverberateMTG Card: Reverberate wins out over Increasing VengeanceMTG Card: Increasing Vengeance you're right, i was only thinking of the application on Goblin GrenadeMTG Card: Goblin Grenade yesterday, so that's why I thought it might be better. For me Gut ShotMTG Card: Gut Shot wins out over GeistflameMTG Card: Geistflame when hitting '(Birds of Paradise, Stromkirk Noble, Falkenrath Aristocrat, Delver of Secrets Flip the list goes on and on)' because with an aggro deck, I tend to race ramp and Gut ShotMTG Card: Gut Shot can be cast for life so it doesn't slow you down when you're dropping Goblin WardriverMTG Card: Goblin Wardriver into Goblin ChieftainMTG Card: Goblin Chieftain. Don't what types of decks you're playing but with zombies on the rise you may want to consider DismemberMTG Card: Dismember or Wrack with MadnessMTG Card: Wrack with Madness to counter Phyrexian Obliterator MTG Card: Phyrexian Obliterator , DismemberMTG Card: Dismember is nice as it also gets Hero of BladeholdMTG Card: Hero of Bladehold but Wrack with MadnessMTG Card: Wrack with Madness on a Phyrexian Obliterator MTG Card: Phyrexian Obliterator makes them sac permanents, it's just fun to see their faces.
