He is a free artifact that I can sacrifice turn 1 with Kuldotha RebirthMTG Card: Kuldotha Rebirth

if you get him

Yes, however, I can mulligan. Also, that package does not hinge on that to win, it's a possibility. Kuldotha RebirthMTG Card: Kuldotha Rebirth goblins are quite good against control decks because of your potential to toss out tons of goblins that get bigger.

whatever, it's your deck. I can't tell you what to do with it.

I really want to make this deck because I have all the cards already for it and had a similar deck in mind! So that being said, i have a couple questions and concerns:

1) Is Koth of the HammerMTG Card: Koth of the Hammer really efficient in the deck? Would Curse of BloodlettingMTG Card: Curse of Bloodletting be a better option (I read that you played it once before)? Because the way I see it, 10 damage for 1 mana late game is disgusting, let alone reverberated. Just curious.

2) When you sideboard the rebirth package (which I think is so cool btw haha), what do you swap out?

+1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1!!!

m12fox, do you have a better suggestion for MemniteMTG Card: Memnite? I'd like to hear it. Maybe a Panic SpellbombMTG Card: Panic Spellbomb? If you don't use it for Kuldotha RebirthMTG Card: Kuldotha Rebirth, you can always just prevent a blocker when you swing :)

.

And, Ohthenoises, this is a shockingly good RDW deck. I also love using the sideboard to mess up another player's sideboard choices. They side in the wrong stuff, leaving you with a good advantage to win.

Overall, good deck and seems to have a very quick fast game play. What's your average turn win?

And one more question, are you totally screwed if your opponent gets Witchbane OrbMTG Card: Witchbane Orb out early game?

April 17, 2012 2:16 p.m.

Ohthenoises says... #7

@thejadejedi Turn 4 is my normal win and unless they ramp (if I'm on the play) they cant have their orb out by my turn 4 hehe. Also, no one in my meta runs Witchbane OrbMTG Card: Witchbane Orb so I've never had to play around it, if there were people who did I would have the whole Ancient GrudgeMTG Card: Ancient Grudge deal in here. Control usually sides in Curse of Death's HoldMTG Card: Curse of Death's Hold to try and deal with my 1 drops which is when I side in my Kuldotha RebirthMTG Card: Kuldotha Rebirth package to have lots of tokens turn 1 or 2.

@Birdxcore I usually side out whatever I think will be irrelevant against the control decks, usually Goblin WardriverMTG Card: Goblin Wardriver and things that don't have haste mainly due to the fact that control will kill them off as soon as it is their turn. Also, Koth of the HammerMTG Card: Koth of the Hammer is RIDICULOUS because I can use his -2 and drop HellriderMTG Card: Hellrider the turn he comes out. V.S.control, who typically has very little creatures, this can be a game ender because a resolved HellriderMTG Card: Hellrider turn 4 AND a resolved Koth on the same turn makes them have to deal with both of them. (roll koth up next turn and swing for 9 if the HellriderMTG Card: Hellrider survived)

Seems to be very nice. I'm pretty sure it would smash my deck deck:from-elves-to-ooze. I don't really know what else I would add to this deck. (Of course, I'm more of a green/white/artifact person anyway.) Very nice. +1 from me dear sir.

And if you ever make another green or white deck, let me know. I might be able to help! Or at the very least, I'd like to at least look at it. (Considering my current deck was inspired by a deck of yours.)

Well when we play (my girl and I) we ran into a snag, If the ooze gets out early enough and big enough it becomes a race to see who wins and green usually wins just because she cant KILL the ooze.

u should use chancellors of the forge in place of one of the hellriders. and see how it works

JamesKrell says... #11

Chancellors are way too slow.

4/2/1 (drew top 2 for packs) tonight. Did really well.

hmm lemme see...

Goblin WardriverMTG Card: Goblin Wardriver is a nice little speed card for gobbies but itsa 2 to cast 2/2 with battlecry who loves dying...so ide take it out for maybe for some evasive 1 drop Signal PestMTG Card: Signal Pest which also help with the Kuldotha RebirthMTG Card: Kuldotha Rebirth sideboard..

but then again that lowers grenade ammo but ive never had a prob with that though..

for the rebirth sideboard maybe remove the cage for Panic SpellbombMTG Card: Panic Spellbomb its a good rebirth target coz you can still pay the red for draw..

if not on a budget Mox OpalMTG Card: Mox Opal is insane kuldotha power >:)

other than that sweet deck, seems pretty fast .

Maybe for the kidoltha-sideboard you could add in some equipments, like Inquisitor's FlailMTG Card: Inquisitor's Flail, Runechanter's PikeMTG Card: Runechanter's Pike, Silver-Inlaid DaggerMTG Card: Silver-Inlaid Dagger, Strata ScytheMTG Card: Strata Scythe, Sylvok LifestaffMTG Card: Sylvok Lifestaff or one of the swords. (I'm specifically suggesting these for the backup plan of pumping Spikeshot ElderMTG Card: Spikeshot Elder)

Hey, you make awesome decks and i always have loved goblins. This deck is very cool. Keep going ;) (i would swap 1 goblin grenade with 1 elder though)

April 22, 2012 4:04 p.m.

felletje says... #16

Ups i mean 1 elder out 1 grenade in. Not counterwisw ;)

April 22, 2012 4:06 p.m.

felletje says... #17

oh, and before i forget. You could sideboard Contested War ZoneMTG Card: Contested War Zone because it is awesome against control decks and heartless summoning (i hate it). if you need more artifacts for Kuldotha RebirthMTG Card: Kuldotha Rebirth like the guy Vman said you prolly use Signal PestMTG Card: Signal Pest. however i wont side in artifacts with Kuldotha RebirthMTG Card: Kuldotha Rebirth because its kind of depending on better draws. i like it how it is right now. just focus your sideboard on something else:)

Played a very close version of this deck last Friday night and got raped badly. (Of course, it should be noted that my second game I made a very poor choice ~turn 4 which was more offensive than health gain.)

I was running an Elf ramp deck with Predator OozeMTG Card: Predator Ooze.

Very good deck if you ask me. I really hope I don't see it next week because if I do, I might do worse than 3rd. lol

I joke at the shop when I run this that it's as easy as slamming my head on the table turning it sideways and winning. Sadly that description isn't too far off of the truth because I can EASILY top 8 with it.

That being said, in your deck you're not running as many Increasing SavageryMTG Card: Increasing Savagerys as I am currently in Little Shop of Horrors so this may never have come up but: Predator OozeMTG Card: Predator Ooze with Increasing SavageryMTG Card: Increasing Savagery spells DOOM for this deck. It forces me to start using burn and most of my burn spells require me to use my creatures (Goblin GrenadeMTG Card: Goblin Grenade/Brimstone VolleyMTG Card: Brimstone Volley what have you) so I cant use them to block your ooze. Once he has IV on him I'm on a 3 turn clock unless I save blockers.

felletje says... #22

by the way, can i ask you something. I playtested this deck and i like to play it, but koth is kind of pricey in my local store so i'd like to run 2 instead of 3. is 2 koth viable or does it ruin the deck? and if i take one out, what should i replace it with? (probaly a mountain or grenade) :)

April 23, 2012 12:45 p.m.

Ohthenoises says... #23

2 is ok I suppose. There are two types of planeswalkers that are out there those that can kinda sit there Gideon JuraMTG Card: Gideon Jura and then there's Koth of the HammerMTG Card: Koth of the Hammer, the type that if you don't kill him he WILL kill you.

I might fill that slot with an extra hellrider, but hes a bit up there mana wise. Goblin GrenadeMTG Card: Goblin Grenade can be a dead card a lot that's why there are only 3. Personally, if I were you, I would put in one more Spikeshot ElderMTG Card: Spikeshot Elder seeing as he has the potential to outright kill a titan on turn 4.

nice to know that this deck still works, and i have been thinki8ng about the side board... it works, and when it does it works GREAT but the thing is it dosn't work like the other guy said, so i've been thinking maybe time to swap the side board... maybe try a new route to mess with people on game two...

April 23, 2012 3:21 p.m.

felletje says... #25

thank you:) i appreciate your help, but can you explain how you use your sideboard? just game 2 swap some goblins and burns out and some artifacts and rebirht in? i dont know if thats viable thats why i ask :)

thanks in advance
