Sideboard

Extreme credit to Programmer_112 because this is his deck idea, but I wanted to make my own version complete with a sideboard and a few changes I think were necessary. For the original, see The reason I have no friends($10Blue Controllolol).

As for the deck itself, you bounce their lands every turn until you draw Jace's Archivist and then you get to draw 6-7 cards per turn. Howling Mine helps you get there and once you have excessive card draw you use Elixir of Immortality to win by mill.

I'm still working on the sideboard and suggestions are welcome. Right now it's geared to beat RDW mainly. This deck has a lot of trouble with forcefeed, but it isn't a common modern deck so I'm not too worried. Unfortunately most modern decks can survive on 2 mana which kills us, but if we can make it to turn 4-5 without too much trouble, then we usually win.

For a version with more lifegain to counter aggro, see Boomerangs with a Splash of White

For a full budget version replace Howling Mine with Dictate of Kruphix and replace Spell Pierce with Stubborn Denial.

For a non-budget version, see Boomerangs with no budget

If $500 is too much but $100 is not, then do get a playset of Chalice of the Void because as soon as that hits the field, it's game. It is consistently amazing against all decks that usually beat this, so I highly recommend it. It is expensive, but well worth it if you are willing to pay to win.

If $100 is too much, then spend $20 to get a playset of Trinisphere because although it isn't as good as Chalice of the Void, it is still a very strong card against RDW and such because hopefully they won't have 3 mana. If you go this path, also spend an extra $10 to get Spell Pierce instead of Negate because it costs less mana and will always hit.

I actually think it's (almost) complete. It will probably see a few more iterations, but I am very happy with it's current form. It plays competitively against most decks, even red. I have been testing it against a $25 goblin token deck I have (card list on my page) and it has performed well. It usually wins when it goes first, but only if I sideboard. Against red you will lose game 1 every time, win game 2 usually, and usually lose game 3 due to their land advantage of going first, but it's a toss up. If you know your LGS regulars, you can secretly side in for red when you see their name as your opponent and win, but that takes skill and luck.

It beats control almost every time and is very strong against other decks as well. If you hit the cmc=2 bounce in your opening hand and you go first, you can win game 1 every time and then side into a more control based deck for game 2. If you win game 2, nice job. If you lose game 2, choose to go first and then side back into boomerang.

Like I said, I think it's almost done to where I am probably going to build it soon.
