Alright, first off, I just wanna mention that while I maybe fairly adept at playing Magic, I am extremely inexperienced at deckbuilding, so please cut me some slack when it comes to strategy. CnC is gratefully accepted, considered, and appreciated though.
I recently fell in love with the idea of +1/+1 counters and basically perma-buffing your creatures with the spontaneity of Giant Growth . So, I decided to whip up a decklist of the cards I thought would work well together within this kind of general theme of "Keep your creatures safe while you buff them, then go batshit on the other player(s)".
So as you can probably see, I've set myself up with the basic cards for this kind of mentality: Master Biomancer , Kalonian Hydra , Corpsejack Menace , Vigor , Vastwood Hydra , and Vorosh, the Hunter. As well, for a little death-power, I threw in Jugan, the Rising Star. Experiment Kraj throws a very nice touch in there, handing out abilities like it's Oprah Winfrey.
Mana-ramp wise, I'm focusing on Birds of Paradise for creature ramp, as well as the oh-so-lovely Prophet of Kruphix alongside Sword of Feast and Famine to untap already existing lands. Plasm Capture adds a nice dash of counter to the mana ramp scene (or maybe the other way around, I don't know).
Counterspell is mainly for keeping my ass safe during early game, though they'll still come in handy if I have some leftover for late game. In terms of other early game, I have Preordain for massive scrying.
Increasing Savagery and Hunting Triad are my non-creature +1/+1 counter-placing spells, for when someone inevitably takes out Kalonian Hydra or Master Biomancer to my surprise.
Put 22 land cards in the deck, seeing as I have a fairly solid Mana-Ramp base going. Since I'm going tricolore, I made my mana-base mostly out of Dual and/or Shock lands to make sure I'm not screwed of a certain colour.
In terms of my sideboard, Sphinx of Magosi and Prime Speaker Zegana are there for card draw, with Blessings of Nature fitting in there snug as well. Rewind and Simic Charm for extra countering and pseudo-countering. Sylvan Primordial for Mana ramp, and just in case I'm facing a burn deck and I know my opponent's gonna boardwipe the living shit out of me, Varolz, the Scar Stripes makes lovely lemonade out of Anger of the Gods 's lemons.
I think that's about it for this deck, so have fun ladies and gentlemen!
