My take on a green burn deck.

It's really just a traditional Elfball...but on a budget. Nothing in here is terribly expensive. About 85% of the time, I'm getting a turn 4 win. Turn 6 in a 4 player game, with Wort, the Raidmother out, I actually did 120 pts of damage, killing all 3 opponents simultaneously.

Gearing up:

Turn 1 - Drop a forest. Drop an elf.

Turn 2 - Drop another forest if you have it. If you don't, don't worry, things get out of hand fairly quickly. In order of importance drop: Elvish Archdruid (He gives your elves +1/+1!) Priest of Titania Any other elf you've got.

Turn 3 - Drop more forests and elves. Instill Energy on the Priest or Archdruid if possible. Shamanic Revelation if you can. Umbral Mantle Is a very good thing to get out. Because of the Equip of 0, you can move it around to the Archdruid or the Priest. Once you have 4 or more elves in play, it's infinite mana.

Turn 4 - Banefire This is the obvious 1st choice for burn. Can't be countered for the size you're going after. Can't be prevented. Kaervek's Torch helps as well, as counters will cost additional mana to play against it. Will be great for 1st time you play a control deck, and the 2nd and 3rd time, it'll serve to slow the opponent down, as they will have to keep 2 additional mana open just for the chance to counter it.

Possible Sideboard info:

Now, that's all if you can. There are a few things that should buy you additional turns if you need them. Tectonic Break You shouldn't need lands at this point, I don't think your opponent needs them either. Get rid of them. They just clutter up the board.

Perhaps your opponent has a creature or two...and for some reason you're not drawing those fire spells...Craterhoof Behemoths need love too! Cast him and let your elves get you the win in another way!

Also, check out Wort, the Raidmother . A chance to double your spell? So easily? It is almost crazy talk to use Wort in here, but once in a while, you want your opponent to go out in a blaze of glory...Well, Wort is there to facilitate that. It also makes the deck worthy of group games. kill 2 or 3 people at the same time!

All in all, it's a very easy deck to run. Not many crazy combos, just lots of tasty Elfball goodness.
