Nigrescence yeah lol! My deck's done except for the BotG cards. It has so much more potential.

Why are you running Burning-Tree Emissary if you're not making use of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx ? Take those out and run something that actually helps you out. Something like Xenagos, The Reveler or Domri Rade

DigitalShadow Just because BTE is good for devotion, doesn't mean it should be used for devotion only. BTE actually helps with casting some spells and having a small blocker during early games.
I've tried Xenagos. Don't get me wrong, he's great. But the mana he gives from the +1 doesn't really work well since I already have a mana ramp, plus, it's a bit useless when I have no hand (happens a lot). The +2 does help a bit but I wouldn't need them in anyway other than attacking which the monstrous and tribute creatures can easily do. The -6 is pretty much useless since my creatures are meant for land destruction and by the time I have 6 counters, the player may already have no land and down to a few life.
Thanks anyway!

Any reason why your sideboard says you're running 5 Lightning Strike 's?

I would drop the two BTE in place of two Xenagos, The Reveler . Once you get Ember Swallower off you're still losing three land yourself.

HeroTime, I think losing lands isn't a problem because there's already a mana ramp and by the time Ember Swallower is monstrous, the opponent would have already been down to one to two lands (if not all). The rest turns will be dictated by attacking aggressively with Ember Swallower.

Sylvan Caryatid -> Blue Mana -> Goblin Electromancer -> Land Destruction Cheaper

Godofredo_Renato but the chances of getting Sylvan Caryatid and Goblin Electromancer down on the board at the same time is pretty low. Plus, I'd have to make space for him by removing a couple of other better choices unless I go up to 64 cards. No need to be make cheap spells. Mana ramp wins it. Third turn land destroy is good enough. Imagine having an electromancer but no caryatid.

I like what you're doing. I've been building a land destruction deck for Standard, just waiting for BotG.
