If you like the deck, please give me a thumps up!
With the Phenax, God of Mill, I think it's time to dust of all the milling cards!
- Except we won't be using them, but instead using a handful of high toughness creatures to do the work for you.
~ Win Conditions ~
Phenax, God of Deception + 2 Wall of Frost + 1
Triton Tactics
= lot of cards gone.
End of turn, tap Wall of Frost for 7 each, in response to the tap, cast
Triton Tactics
untap the Walls, and tap them again to mill, milling a total of 20 cards each. - Adding another
Triton Tactics
wins on the opponents next upkeep. (milling for 13 each - which is 78)
Or
Thassa, God of the Sea
+ Unblockable + Consuming Aberration = tons of hurt.
Or
Phenax, God of Deception + Consuming Aberration = Doubling in power and size.. Every turn.
Or
Jace, Memory Adept
+ Duskmantle Guildmage - Activate Duskmantle Guildmage first ability two times. Activate
Jace, Memory Adept
second ability. 20 damage. Reshuffle.
Creatures
Nightveil Specter Can help snag a card/land from an opponent. Slowly helps the mill aspect as well.
Wall of Frost Serves as the most annoying blocker in the world. No one gets through it, and it taps down for a whole turn after. Mills for 7 on it's own.
Phenax, God of Deception The requirement of the combo. Should become a creature at some point, with all the double blue.
Thassa, God of the Sea
Allows for Scry/ an unblockable Consuming Aberration Should also come online.
Consuming Aberration Hurts. A lot. Mills. A lot. This guy should be able to win the game.
Spells
Dimir Charm
Allows for various things. Either getting rid of Mutavault, Nightveil Specter or early Pack Rat, digging or countering the Thoughtseize.
Far / Away Bounce (even my own stuff) and sacrifice.
Psychic Strike Gets rid of my opponents Scry and mill them a bit while doing it.
Dissolve
Allows for protection for the combo/getting rid of critical aspects of my opponents deck.
Hero's Downfall Spot removal.
Triton Tactics
Not a requirement, but it's cool to have as a part of the combo. Untaps, boost defense = mills for more. Can surprise an opponent who think I'm vulnerable.
Pilfered Plans
Card draw.
Jace
Jace, Architect of Thought Jace.
