I've only been playing Magic for about 7 months now (off and on) and I've recently gotten back into it fully. I decided I'd try to see how well I do in local tournaments because that would be more fun than just playing with my buddies, and so I tried to make a deck that would do well in them. Tried a Selesnya token deck, but it was too slow for me. I still plan on using it, but only once I get a better idea of the game itself. I've decided to go with Boros for it's speed. Overall, I've noticed it does quite well ending the games by rounds 6-8. If it doesn't, I've tried to put cards in like Assemble the Legion to help late-game. I need some suggestions on what else I can add to it. I don't have some cards that would perfect it, but I would like to get some like Boros Reckoner. I've made a few decks before this, but nothing as serious as I want this to be.
