Double strike is just the most powerful combat ability out there, so why not abuse it? Hitting for 10 on the second turn with Kor Duelist and Adventuring Gear is just too tempting... Cavern of Souls is cool too because you can name either Soldier or Human to get your creatures through counterspells, post-board there're also Boros Charms.
