Boros aggro with black splash for an obzedat beater and creature removal.

The deck focuses on early game, ideally getting legion on turn one and zealot on turn two. By turn three creature protection comes either by means of removal via dreadbore or nighthawk, or frontlines battalion.

The beefy damage comes from spark trooper, Aurelia, hellrider, and Obzedat.

Ajani serves three purposes. Damage sink, pumping creatures like Aurelia for a double return on the counter or spark trooper for more life gain, and finally flying double strike. Being able to get obzedat in the air with double strike is dangerous, with aurelia its lethal.

Gideon is less versatile but more potent. He provides a creature that is much harder to remove than the other beaters in the deck, but also allows for a second win con. In games that stall out his ultimate while slow can provide an saving out. He also goes great against token decks.

Still looking for sideboard ideas. Wear//Tear, and lilana of the veil seem like for sures, but im not sure if i should just pack burn.
