Boros Lumimancer is focused around the Magecraft abilities of Clever Lumimancer and Leonin Lightscribe . With Show of Confidence and other combat tricks it's extremely easy to pull instant kills out of nowhere. This deck can reliably kill people on turn 4. It's really straightforward -- play a Lumimancer on turn 1 and go off with it. Even without a Lumimancer, Leonin Lightscribe can combine with Tajic, Legion's Edge and Rimrock Knight (and even the tokens from Castle Ardenvale ) to go wide instead of tall.

Arrester's Zeal is extremely powerful because it can give flying at sorcery speed. By casting it on Lumimancer before combat, you can fly over the blockers your opponent expected to use to stay alive against your attack. Then you can just dump pumps on it and instantly kill the opponent as early as turn 3.

This is a very straightforward deck that kills opponents with damage quickly, but sometimes it requires some clever placement of spells to work optimally. Occasionally you find that a Shock to the face is the best combat trick in your hand because Arrester's Zeal and Boulder Rush are overkill.
