@dymk: I forgot about Goblin Guide! I like the Blightsteel Colossus as a sideboard card to mix things up. Brings back memories as my first modern deck was infect:p Thanks for the feedback!

a little sidebaord suggestion here. I've noticed that you dont have any graveyard recurrence, so maybe to jelp against deck like delver, sideboard in Rest in Peace, and as an option against affinity and maybe some tron decks, sideboard in Kataki, War's Wage. +1 from me i love this list

@Thesecrets139x: Thanks for the suggestions! I haven't really taken a good look at the sideboard yet, but I'll keep those in mind! My favorite counter to graveyard recursion is Grafdigger's Cage.

Two suggestions Timely Reinforcements and Thatcher Revolt. May it help you.

I like both, but unfortunately, Timely Reinforcements won't trigger Champion of the Parish. When I have more time I'll play test the deck with Thatcher Revolt. Thanks for the advice!

Have you considered using Lightning Berserker? It's Dash cost works well with Champion of the Parish. Nice list btw!

I had not. I do like that suggestion though. I think they'll be a better option than the Weathered Wayfarers.

Interesting list. It looks like Thalia's Lieutenant would be a good card in the list, as both Champion's 5-8 and the enter effect. also, I wouldn't run Expedition Map. Its a slow combo and tutoring doesn't seem more useful than drawing into more creatures

@skrid54321: Thanks for the feedback! You have a good point with the Expo maps. I agree that Thalia's Lieutenant is a good alternative.

Good call on adding more graveyard hate. Dredge is everywhere!
Rest in Peace, Dredge!
Boros (or even Naya) burn plays quick. You can burn your foe out by Turn 4 in many cases.
I play a pretty straightforward Naya version of BURN http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/dymks-trogdorzooburn/ that used to feature dragons. Now it has a pair of Chandra, Torch of Defiance as the very very high end. Splashing green gives access to some great options Atarka's Command and Destructive Revelry as well as Wild Nacatl on turn 1.

dymk: I learned that the hard way. I've been out of modern for a bit since I have a young child, and last I played, affinity and GR tron was everywhere. I'm going to keep it Boros for now and see how it plays next week since a FNM competitive Boros modern deck was my goal.

Boros is a great color combo. More consistent mana and, man, that will burn them out quick. Grim Lavamancer might be fun for you, as well as Gutshot,Skullcrack, and Simian Spirit Guide. PS I used to love playing Boros Reckoner on T2 with Spirit Guide.
Good luck and keep us posted on how you do!

I love the burn and aggro of Boros. It's the bulk of the decks I build and my Boros angel deck is my go-to for EDH. I'm debating running Grim Lavamancer as a one of and going back down to 2x Chandra, Torch of Defiance. I'd rather have a bigger burn spell in a slot, than Gutshot, even with the Phyrexian mana.
Thanks! I definitely will! I should be able to make it FNM consistently now, so I shoud have a weekly update!

I dont really see the appeal to vexibg devil. It dies to quite literally all the removal. They can choose to not ake the 4 and just bolt it away. I would cut it for 2 more skullcracks and the 4th gobbo guide

The 4th Guide definitely. I'm not as sold on 2 more Skullcracks since my meta isn't that heavy with lifegain and I'd rather have my opponent waste their removal on him than the guides and swiftspears.

Well, its more that its a strict bolt to the face over the lifegain hosing. Its more incidental that it also messes with seige rhino and co.

Bolt is wonderful, I will admit. I'll consider it.

Its more for redundancy, and you want to assure that all your cards guarantee 3 damage on their own. Thats sort of why stuff like path to exile are relagated to a 2-of status in sideboards.

Love this build so much. +1. Recommend Goblin Guide in here. Card is so much fun and fits nice. I like Blightsteel Colossus with Nahiri. You might like it in the sideboard, just as a surprise. Good luck!
