Duel Commander is a 1v1 variant of EDH using a ban list that's much more fair and competitive than the one used in multiplayer EDH.

Common staple Sol Ring, for example, is banned in Duel Commander.

It's 1v1 EDH. Having said that, duel commander is an extremely fast format, where aggro and voltron decks are extremely common. I'm not sure how effective Damia will be here.

I'm not sure how effective Mana Leak will be.

1v1 EDH (At least the French (I.E. Proper) variety that bans the fast mana and early game plays like Mana Crypt) is much more focused on the midgame than anything else.

This deck is good against aggro, the spot removal and the wraths are more than enough. Matchups like Ezuri are heavily in my favor. And Voltron? lol An edict with counter back-up just wins the game.

I've been playing this deck for a while now, tuning it, it has pretty good matchups across the board. The key is to out attrition your opponent, then when you both are near top-decking, play your general and reload. Resolving a Damia trigger pretty much wins most games.

Now you're just contradicting yourself. If this format was super fast, Mana Leak would be even better, because of the focus on the early game.

Yes. I'm gradually foiling it out. I collect promo cards, so things like the Demonic Tutor and the like serve a dual purpose in making my deck foil and completing my collection. This deck is proxy free, and everything marked as foil I own in foil.
