Agreed. It's a valid concern, but I need the consistency in being able to cast my spells. So it's a calculated risk in opening my deck up to that weakness.

However, pointing out the weakness to Blood Moon is kind of irrelevant. It's like pointing out that BUG Delver is weak to that card in Legacy. It's correct, but covering that weakness would require revamping the deck into an overall worse form.

Running a bunch of basics in a deck with a plethora of double green, double blue, and double black spells is a recipe for disaster.

I just changed out Riptide Laboratory for Temple of Deceit. The former was better before I cut Venser, and now I haven't activated it in so many games.
