Now With the Gatecrash —Feb. 20, 2013
I took out a lot of stuff in this deck:
-2x Kruin Striker, -3x Elite Inquisitor, -3x Kessig Malcontents, -3x Fiend Hunter, -3x Instigator Gang Flip, -3x Odric, Master Tactician, -2x Angelic Overseer, -4x Gather the Townsfolk, -3x Thatcher Revolt, -2x Zealous Conscripts, -1x land (my mana now curves at 4)
..but in their place I put in some control, more humans for the ones I took out, and some gatecrash stuff:
+3x Boros Elite,
+3x Nearheath Pilgrim,
+3x Lightning Mauler,
+3x Frontline Medic,
+3x Boros Reckoner,
+4x Hellrider (he's baaack...lol),
+4x Boros Charm
,
+4x Searing Spear,
+2x Pillar of Flame
*** I was also able to get my hands on a play-set of both Clifftop Retreat as well as Sacred Foundry. This also helped my mana-game tremendously!***

That was just a notice to myself to buy 3 more Cavern of Souls . This is my literal deck and I haven't dropped the $20 per card on it yet, lol.

Sublime Archangel strikes me as awkward here. It promotes a style of attack that's completely different from the rest of the deck. Hellrider would be a much better fit in my opinion.

I'm not confidant sublime works well in a boros deck, call me crazy but im swinging with everything on turn 4, including my 4 drop.

I agree with the both of you. I used to run Hellrider but I took him out because he didn't work as well as I wanted him to before gatecrash. But now if I can integrate Frontline Medic in a combo with Hellrider I think it'll work a lot better with what I got going on. I'll playtest with it then probably throw him back in here. Thanks!

why do you have 4 Cavern of Souls in the sideboard? it should be main deck unless you don't the play set yet. love the build. i feel like Elite Inquisitor can be replaced by either, Ash Zealot or Lightning Mauler . elite is a great sideboard card with all the zombies out there, i'm going to steal that for my boros deck, http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/redwhite-humans-post-rotation-1/ (sorry don't know how to link in decks, and yes shameless plug).
