I used to play Assemble the Legion but it is way too slow and more often that not, it gets removed. Only decks that can't remove it are red and black decks and it is too slow against those.

Assemble the Legion definitely needs to be in here, if its to slow then make it a one or two of so you wont draw it as often

I will most likely swap the scry lands in favor of Battlefield Forges (having 3 sets of dual lands is kinda awkward)

This deck looks mean. +1. What's your plan for post-rotation? I'm running a Boros soldier deck that is looking very promising. The Endless Plain of Fortune.

I have no plan, I will wait and see what cards there will be D:

I'm confused I don't see Launch the Fleet ??? I'd say -2 Generator, -1 Elspeth, and -1 Purphoros or Boros Charm

Launch the Fleet is too situational and you would need to have many creatures on board, and you would also have to be able to attack with them. In most cases, I do not have 4-8 creatures on the field because they have been removed. Most of times I have 2 or 3 creatures and at that point it would be better to just use Raise the Alarm because it's an instant that you can use at the end of your opponents turn. This deck used to be all about the tokens with Evangel of Heliod and Assemble the Legion but I've moved to more midrange deck because it just works better.

I think you should reconsider Launch the Fleet . It gets out of control, especially with heroic cards like Akroan Crusader and Phalanx Leader , since it triggers their heroic abilities. Consider this situation:
Turn 1: Akroan Crusader Turn 2: Raise the Alarm Turn 3: Convoke for Obelisk of Urd and name soldiersTurn 4: Launch the Fleet on your three soldiers, creating 7 creatures swinging for a total of 21 damage.
Just my two cents. It's one of the most overpowered cards in white, with the strive only costing 1 for each extra target.

Were I to put Akroan Crusaders to this deck, I would have to change the deck to Heroic deck as just Launch the Fleet would not be enough. You should always choose the cards that are good on their own unless the whole deck is built for it. That's the reason I removed the Legion's Initiative because it was a dead draw if I had no creatures or if I had multiple of them in my hand. It was a cool card that did win me games but also lost me many more. Same goes for Launch the Feet. Were I to draw it when I had 0-2 creatures on the field when it's turn 10 (and no Purphoros), I would probably not appreciate it. If I was going to make a heroic deck, then Launch the Fleet could be pretty good especially if you play Obelisk of Urd. But not in this deck unless I change how the deck works completely.

That makes sense. It would involve gutting a lot of your deck.
Post-rotation, I think Boros is going to be really strong with Obelisk of Urd , Launch the Fleet , and Purphoros, God of the Forge . I guess we'll see what comes out with Khans.

since u have ravnica cards, Scion of Vitu-Ghazi is just a huge upgrade over stormbreath
September 4, 2014 7:27 p.m.
Scion would deal 6 damage on the first turn IF Purphoros is on the field. Stormbreath dragon also deals 6 damage because it has haste. Stormbreath also has prot from white and it's a 4/4 flyer and it is red so it can block Bloodbaron.

It's too slow, it takes 3 turns to make 3 soldiers while Elspeth has made 9 soldiers at the same ammount of turns and is ready to ultimate. And if it gets removed, then it did absolutely nothing.
