I'm unsure of whether Sign in Blood or Faithless Looting would be better in this deck. Thoughts?

Sign in Blood is better for this deck. Faithless Looting is only better if you have some way to take advantage of the cards you pitch.

Thanks, Krayhaft. I'm still not sure on the number of Sign in Blood I need. It will either be one or two probably. Also I'd like to have another Obzedat, Ghost Council or two but those will probably have to wait due to budget constraints.

Did you think about Gisela, Blade of Goldnight?

I did, but I feel like she's a win-more card. Also she's about to rotate. I've been thinking about Angel of Serenity too.

Decent Bro-shov deck.

I would minus one Aurelia, the Warleader and add one Obi-Wan-Zadobbie. (Obzedat, Ghost Council ).

Gideon, Champion of Justice isn't excellent.

Tajic really isn't that great either.

Thanks for the advice, tannerskeith. When I can get my hands on another Obzedat, Ghost Council it'll be going in. I'm still unsure about losing an Aurelia though. She's so good when I get her. Also I'm thinking of adding High Priest of Penance for some early game protection to supplement the removal.

Gideon, Champion of Justice isn't excellent, you're right. But I like a four mana 6/6 or 7/7 beatstick that is super hard to remove.

High Priest of Penance isn't the card you think it is as it effectively gives your opponent a choice. When confronted with it, people will choose whether losing something is more important than dealing damage or vice versa and they will always pick the one that is least convenient for you. Unless you have an abundance of ways to damage your own Priest (which you don't), it's not a good card to try and run.

What you really need is early game defense. I would take out the Warleader's Helix for Searing Spear and up the number of Dreadbore s. i would highly recommend getting a play set of High Priest of Penance . I would also probably put Mizzium Mortars on the side, they're only good against creature heavy decks.

1 more Vampire Nighthawk as well, its such a good card. and speaking of good cards, Boros Charm should definitely be added.

If you're looking for draw power, you should go for Sign in Blood UNLESS you decide to add Unburial Rites then Faithless Looting would be great for that

Wow. I get done saying NOT to run High Priest of Penance, type an entire paragraph explaining why, and what's the first thing someone posts after it? Someone recommending the damn card. My god, can you people even read?

Alright, I'll get hated on for this. But in my honest opinion, Thoughtseize should be dropped completely from this deck. I am fully aware at how helpful the card is, but it just doesn't do justice for this deck as much as I would think. Think of it this way, you run 12 shock lands, and 2 Read the Bones . Each of them pain you 2 life per use if you make them come in untapped plus your draw power. I would like to save the additional 2 life I save from Thoughtseize and shock myself from land or my drawing power cards because it gains you more of an advantage due to being able to play your spells faster. I have tried Thoughtseize and Duress both in my RBW Control setup I've been running for a few weeks, and it can be filled in with something else. My recommendations for this deck would be..

-3x Thoughtseize - Very good solid card, but can be replaced with something better IMO.

-1x Warleader's Helix - Costs too much for what it does.

-2x Ultimate Price - Really runs down to the META.

+2x Hero's Downfall - Kills anything and everything except for Blood Baron of Vizkopa .

+2x Doom Blade - Kills everything not black.

+1x Dreadbore - Less mana costing and sorcery speed removal for anything except Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Master of Waves .

+1x Mizzium Mortars or Magma Jet - Board wipe also killing Blood Baron of Vizkopa and the Jet for scrying ability leading you into better draws.

These are just a few suggestions I have for you, all comes down to personal taste and META plays, hop you find the suggestions worth while. Thanks
