My deck from a Sealed Pre-release tournament.I chose to play the Boros guild, and went 4-0 in the rounds.
R1: 2-1 Boros victory over Simic (U/G). Oppenent had lots of evolve and ways to make little guys grow up to be nasty G1: Good draw allowed fast aggro and maintained battalion,
Ghor-Clan Rampager
as a combat trick led to my board dominance just as he was starting to stabilize and a dominant victory for me. Game 2: opened with a mediocre hand that didn't get better. Couldn't establish board presence and maintain pressure. I lost bad. G3. Good draw on my part, opponent mana screwed with 2 land. By the time he recovered it was too late.
R2: 2-1 Boros victory over Orzhov (W/B). G1: Decent draw with good early pressure (

), opponent only drew Swamps. A 20-0 win for me. G2: slow painful loss to extort, decent draw but a little slow on the mana so I couldn't get enough creatures out to establish pressure. G3: T1

R3: 2-1 Boros victory over Gruul. Best slugfest of the night. G1: established Battalion and was able to push opponent to 8 life before stalling,
Massive Raid
helps me keep the board close with two evenly matched creatures each. I was able to use
Debtor's Pulpit
to tap both creatures out and get the win. G2: a real slug fest

and a late drop of a
Foundry Champion
almost sealed the win, but a combat trick gave him the win. Could have won for 2x turns with Clan Defiance but didn't get the green mana source. Third time in the night to win a solid game one only to lose game. G3: another slugfest

makes a return for a big hit. he attacks with a glor-clan rampager that I block with a
Fortress Cyclops
, he bloodrushs as a combat trick and I counter with a
Smite
to establish board presence. Last turn I drop a bomb with a Molten Primordial to steal his 5/4 and slam him for 17 points of overkill for the win.
R4: 2-0 Boros win over a new friend playing Simic (U/G) (with a little splash of R). G1: Overwhelming win with down the gut aggression,
Massive Raid
kills off little threats before they grow, and
Spark Trooper
gets an "oh no" from my opponent as the battalion launches forward yet again. Skullcrack for the kill as he's just stabilizing G2: opponent has to mulligan to 4, and has 2 lands out while being beaten severely around the head by angry
Skyknight Legionnaire
s and
Ember Beast
, as he stabilizes
Massive Raid
combat trick keeps my guy alive and a final Skullcrack adds insult to injury.
