Champion of the Parish has got to be the best 1-drop in Standard, right now. Gravecrawler is easily defeated by white, Vexing Devil can be creative, but can be over with by just taking the 4 damage, and Stromkirk Noble is only good against Humans.

Champion of the Parish can get bigger every turn, considering what you drop down next and with the aid of the Boros Charm and Silverblade Paladin, the possibilities are of end game.

Reckless Waif   is no more than a big hit on turn 2. Considering that everyone is playing with Gate and Shock lands, such as Temple Garden, Hallowed Fountain , and Watery Grave to name a few on their first turn, gives them no choice but to transform Reckless Waif   and get hit with either 3 or 4 with the exalt of Knight of Glory . Reckless Waif   drops as a Human, by the way.

Knight of Glory , my favorite turn 2 card. The knight immediately boosts up Champion of the Parish and gives an edge of knock out with Exalted. The best part about Knight of Glory is that he has Protection from black! Rakdos has been a formidable opponent, but not against the Knight of Glory and the Elite Inquisitor . That Vigilance and First Strike stops nearly everything slow and weak.

Okay, so.. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben has been good to me, but I've been getting a lot of feedback and suggestions to take her out. I do get caught with noncreature spells quite often and I think keeping her in would only delay, both, my opponent and myself. Everyone is hating on Reckless Waif  Flip and I'm willing to swap her for Gather the Townsfolks. With the new edition of Rally the Peasants, I think more creatures equals even more incoming damage. Hellrider is a staple in this deck, too.
