-2 Warleader's Helix , +2 Wojek Halberdiers . You can't go wrong with more aggression.

I thought about taking out the 2 helix for 2 boros reckoners but wasn't sure if that would be my best bet or not.

Things I've learned after attempting Boros are that, to start with, Aurelia does not work in Boros. Not only is her mana cost very unfortunately too high and her value not guaranteed enough, but her ability does surprisingly little for the deck as a second combat only seems ideal for an aggro deck until you realize that most of the creatures can't alpha strike through other blockers well enough to survive the first combat to begin with. The other thing I've learned is that Ash Zealot and Champion of the Parish simply don't go well enough together to run them together. Unless you have Sacred Foundry (which I see you don't), you can not play one right after the other. This often leads to deciding whether or not you want to skip your turn 1 play or your turn 2 play which, for an aggro deck, can often lead to not having enough of a boardstate to win the early game or have a good foothold in the midgame.

Aside from that, Aurelia's Fury, Assemble the Legion, and Gleam of War (especially the latter) are all too slow and expensive for what they do to justify them in an aggro deck.

well id like to eventually make this deck into more of a mid range into late game deck I don't have to be able to rush a million low mana cost creatures out. I do have plans in getting sacred foundrys here soon. thanks for the input any recommendations as to what you would change? I love how my deck currently flows but im always up for advice as to how to change and improve.

I like the idea for your deck. I'm in the process of building something very similiar for post rotation. Check it out. Assemble This! +1 to you sir. I tend to agree with Formortiis though. Boros really isn't a late game deck build. I love Assemble the Legion and Gleam of Battle and I want to use those cards too. I have Assemble in my deck because it is my favorite card. But it's there only for those rare occasions the game is still going turn 5-9.

I'd sub out Chandra's Phoenix for Viashino Firstblade , he gets more damage done at the 3 drop slot, especially since you are light on instants/sorceries.4x Legion's Initiative is far too many, 2 at max.And Path of Bravery is pure garbage in a deck like this. I know, I've tried it.You might also like Legion Loyalist

Boros has some delicious new cards. I see you have quite a lot of permanents with good devotion, so you might want to include one or two Iroas, God of Victory. Then there's Ride Down, which is awesome removal while staying agressive.

I'd say cut some of your enchantments, because none of them are doing too much.

Take a look at my Boros deck, you might get some more ideas You want Boros? I've got Boros

For the Sideboard i would add some Path To Exile and Maybe Valorous Stance, Path for any creature heavy Modern deck, and Valorous Stance, is just a versitile card overrall, and protect your creatures, when Iroas can not and it is also just a very nice removal spell

Also maybe add one Ajani Vengeant(For landfall decks) add him as a sideboard card, cause he does not fit the deck, the way you buildt it
