Sideboard

In case it's not already obvious, this deck is based on the ninja precon deck from the Planechase Anthology, "Night of the Ninja".

Bounce-pitch is a highly underused and IMHO underrated form of removal. It doesn't do very well in multiplayer games, but in 1v1s it can make it impossible for the opponent to make headway.

Ninjutsu cards are decent for this strategy because of Mistblade Shinobi , in addition to just generally being the right colors for the job.

You have several 2 drops, and many of your expensive cards get played for their ninjutsu cost, which heavily reduces the deck's average mana cost.

Your goal is to prevent your opponent from every having many cards in play or in hand. Because of this, Dimir Cutpurse is your best foot soldier. Baleful Strix and Nim Deathmantle are there to enable your ninjas. Note that Baleful Strix has deathtouch AND an ETB effect, so using it with your ninjas, and if push comes to shove, with AEtherplasm , are very effective strategies.

Nim Deathmantle is also a huge piece of creature insurance. In most 60 card decks I run 20+ creatures, but this artifact made me willing to make an exception.

Vela the Night-Clad synergizes very well with the deck, but she is a fairly expensive drop. Expect to only drop her once every 10 games or so, and don't be surprised if your opponents make a point of clearing her right away. That doesn't mean you shouldn't spend a Remand on her to keep her in play if you want to though ;)

Pretty much everything else in the deck is self explanatory.
