Perfect Tempo... While he had some similarities... such as Frostburn weird... HE hated the fact of Cloudfin Raptors and Nivmagus Elementals shot out of the gate... Especially with Hidden Strings pulling out the fun... using his burn spells at every opportunity on those... Bastard of Waves came out... and then an artisan of forms also play as a master of waves... 16 Tokens on the board....

I lost.... Why?... Broke the cardinal rule... I took a 1 land hand..... 'nuf said

He sideboarded in as much removal as he could spare... while I removed the mindreavers for Syncopates... Which ultimately was THE game changer.... I was 4 life... he was at 1.. his turn... 2 frostburn weirds.. tapped... Could not get through... uses the last of his mane for a Burn from Turn/Burn and a Lighting Strike..... I had 1 card in hand... 2 mana untapped.. and a full board state with Thassa being live... The 1 card... Syncopate.... GG and handshakes...

Syncopate and Rapid Hybridization removed a cluster of Desecration Demons.... but not before Artisian of forms turned into a D-Demon himself...
Cloudfins and Nivmagus + Hidden Strings.... became so obnoxious that he was using Ultimate Price and Hero's Downfall on those before even the finishers came in to play... As it was... Game # 3... not a single Master was seen.... Frostburns and Nivmagus and cloudfins a plenty.. Love the Nivmagus... VERY underrated

Went by so fast it was silly... Won on Turn 5 with Nykthos, Thassa, 2x Mutavaults on field with a collection of Frostburn Weirds.... Topped off by Master of Waves..... BY the way.. did you know you can use Artisan of Forms as a mana source ?... Turn him into a Mutavault.... and it gains those abilities... including being a land....

He used Last Breath on me 4x times... including on my mutavault, Nightveil Specter, and Nivmagus.. Read more on the last usage
And there was Brimaz... Facing down a Frostburn weird... I attacked... blocked... I pumped Frostburn enough to trade with brimaz... best call of the night.... his board state... a cat token with vigilance... mine... 1x Mutavault and Thassa + Bident... (He removed Everything else... including ANOTHER Last Breath, but I pumped Frostburn 2x to evade that mess)
He gets to 5 lands... Ozbedat, Ghost Council.... instant answer (for 2 mana).. Syncopate... Bye Ozzie
Now I have 2 Cloudfin Raptors, Thassa, Nivmagus... He is doing EVERY thing he to keep Thassa off the field by killing other creatures with spells.. burning mana like crazy.. while I am using low cost creatures over and over again to keep her on... I keep drawing creatures with and scrying for them.. while making them unblockable getting MORE card draw...

Not... Even... fair.....
Aggro hell all over him... Especially when Nightveil is stealing your cards.. and chromatic lantern is making sure I can play them..... Using his own bile blight on freshly squeezed out trio of Pack Rats is FUNNY.
End note.... never used Mindreaver even once... May rid myself of him while another 1 drop... Vortex Elemental is looking VERY appealing...
