Is here a certain reason for no Vampire Nighthawk ? Just curious.

@LtMiller117

I've been considering him but not sure how he would fit in. If you have a suggestion for a card to drop, I'm open to it!

Hmmm.. My initial first thought would be either the blood lord or the heirs, more the heirs. You have more than enough boosts from captain and, hopefully, keeper that the counters don't seem that necessary. Let me know your thoughts on that.

Side note, would you be willing to consider Vampire Lacerator ? He's ridiculously good and has personally won me many games. Let me know your thoughts.

I would drop Rakish Heir for Vampire Nighthawk also I would drop Stromkirk Noble for Vampire Nocturnus . Very cool deck +1

I'm swapping my heirs out for the nighthawks, I'll see how it feels. Thanks for the tip!

And I've gone back and forth between Lacerator and Pulse tracker... do you think that Lacerator is a better black one drop?

@HydraOoze

I am dropping the heirs for nighthawks :)

But can you explain the dropping the Stromkirk Noble for Vampire Nocturnus ?The Nobles are a nice one drop and following them with a madcap skills means that they get pretty big, whereas Nocturnis is a four-drop and fairly late game compared to the nobles

Yes(and I'll try to answer without too much bias. :D) because a turn 1 2/2 is always great, especially in modern aggro since he does damage before the opponents can stabilize. Plus, late game with boosts from your other cards, he gets ridiculously better than he already was. Yeah, the 1 damage is a bit of a setback but who cares when you can do at least 4 damage before the opponent can respond. Most other turn 1s are 1/1 or even worse.

Pulse tracker is a strong drop as well, but because of its 1/1 it becomes a little easier to deal with. You could always run both though :) I do, in my current b/w vampires So Many Vampires. Along with Viscera Seer .

Long story short! I like 2/2 better than 1/1.

@SplinterAlfanumerico

I have gone back and forth on Kalastria Highborn and Blood Artist. I think I'll make the swap for now and see how it feels!

Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi thanks on the commentary on Vampire Fest deck is still under heavy mods currently in mtgo i have a much purge base however I still need to adjust it cause most of of the time im out of juice pretty quickly. I'm planning on updating my list soon. But keep in mind im trying to reduce the cost of the deck while maintaining card synergy I'm thinking on putting Pawn of Ulamog and test for mana generation outside lands. btw is a casual deck i have no intent currently for it been competitive and prefer not having more than3 of each to depend more on the overall synergy to come up with strategies on the fly rather than have a boring 100% reliable deck that those the same every turn.

I have thought about running Pawn of Ulamog but if you noticed, some cards in this deck are double black with a black mana ability, so colorless mana might not help then.
