I multitask likeaboss, and sadly was doing other stuff at the time. I didn't see you're message til after you left the server :(

Yes, Killing Wave late game is amazing when you have a couple of Blood Artist s on the field. I'd suggest running 2-3, that way you won't see it too early, but should come in at the midgame point. :)

I've been working on tribal vamps as well, though I am also including humans in the build as my early drops as they can later be fed to Aristocrat. They are also my easy side-outs to convert from playing beatdown to control.

You need to know that tribal vampires has a major Achille's heel in the current meta--Olivia. She is being played extensively in Jund lists, and if she hits unanswered late game she can steal all our vamps and smack us with them. Make sure that you are at all times in game 1 either running Olivia or running sufficient removal to kill her when she hits.

Tragic slip is really weak since rotation; morbid is not a guarantee with this list and you need removal, As you are running BR, consider Searing Spear or Brimstone Volley MB as they will kill most big threats (Olivia, Huntmaster, Thragtusk) when they hit the board. Slaughter Games is also huge in SB for proactively removing Bant and Jund threats; Appetite for Brains similarly is a good look if you want to be able to move to a control build.

card:Tormod's Crypt is probably a better SB choice for GY hate than Cage; you can cast it when tapped out and you can activate it in response to any attempt to remove it. Of course, if your local meta is all Reanimator decks your cage is good. I like Crypt because it can also destroy Rancor when it hits the GY before bounce back.

Sever the Bloodline is another sideboard consideration, especially if you see lots of tokens. As it exiles, it can be awesome when facing down zombies-say goodbye to those pesky Gravecrawlers or Messengers!

Thanks for the comment photodyer! I have taken your suggestions under consideration and are currently playtesting them on cockatrice. I have to say that I am already seeing improvement in the removal department and will post updates soon.

I have put together a similar deck for multiplayer( Skull Rend ). Some time ago i played agains a WU blinky deck. Afterwards my opponent told me that the Vampire Nocturnus was scary because he had little agains flying and the Stromkirk Captain because the first strike means he is forced to make bad choices. Currently there are 28 of 60 cards black for Vampire Nocturnus . In the deck i have Vampiric Fury Cathedral of War and Essence Harvest . Probally not as good as you have but it's a thought.

@whiteknight07 You hit it right on the head, I'm running too much red.

@CDuke Skull Rend looks interesting, but I'm sure I would be able to fit that in anywhere. I'm thinking that Cathedral of War could possibly find its way in here though. Exalted on top of the bonuses that my captain provides could be devastating.

4x Thatcher Revolt and 2x Reverberate reverberate lets you copy yours or your opponents spells to inflict greater fast damage.

Thatcher revolt + blood artist is an easy 6 damage and if you have an aristocrat it gets a perm +3/+3 boost
