I'm sitting at a pretty happy place with this deck right now. I've learned that the key with this deck is that you have to lean hard into the stax. At first it felt sort of icky to be playing stax because of its bad rep, so I was constantly not digging for stax pieces when I could, trying to be "nice" with the stax. That just slowed down the game while leaving me open to getting blown up. Once you lean in hard to the stax you close out the game much quicker and there are less feel-bads around the table. Also, something super important; ASK YOUR GROUP IF THEY'RE OK WITH YOU PLAYING STAX. Don't be that guy that gives stax players a bad name. 95% of people will be angry walking into a stax deck with no advance warning. An incredibly small amount will actually enjoy the challenge/have a deck that can compete. But a lot of people will be kind and let you play a game if the night's going well and you ask politely.
