Brago I'm not being aggressive, I'm being dominant

Commander / EDH WU (Azorius)

Brago is a basic blink stax deck loaded with mana rocks to get him out as early as turn 2 so he can attack turn 3. The object of this deck is to blink either of the 2 Rishadan's, Venser, or Nevermaker to hard lock opponents out. Plan B is to blink creatures soulhearded or Mace of the valiant (equipped to creature) can swing for lethal. By blinking rocks, planeswalkers and cards with ETB effects I can keep boards clear, draw cards, untap rocks to play through an intense stax package during my 2nd main phase or just keep mana open for counters denying my opponents any advantage on their turns.

The important thing about this deck is Brago is useless without permanents to blink and the permanents are useless if their ETBs aren't abused via Brago. Brago NEEDS to connect with combat damage in order to blink. Cards like Rogue's Passage, Whispersilk Cloak make him unblockable to ensure I can blink.

Most of the creatures in this deck aren't threatening. However, when their ETBs are abused they can keep an entire board of 3 other players in check.

Considering the low number of lands and the high number of mana rocks and smothering thithe. Rhystic Study and a few blinkable etb draw engines provide consistent card advantage. This allows me to keep counters in my hand most of the time and draw into search cards to gather more mana rocks fast or strionic resonator to combo.

Cards like Grasp of Fate are blinkable removal on hand for when stronger threats become present. I will also blink them for new targets when I draw into removal for their current targets.

Rishadan Brigand and Rishadan Footpad cause opponents to tap mana or sacrifice permanents each time they ETB. Entering together or multiple times per turn in the early game, or via Strionic Resonator later in the game can destroy entire boards including lands normally causing players to scoop. This also prevents opponents from playing spells in preparation to pay the tax to avoid sacrificing their permanents already in play. Panharmonicon is used to get 2 triggers off each ETB as well and charming prince can blink them when he enters.

Eldrazi Displacer can also blink creatures when Brago cannot connect for damage or to prevent threats from attacking or blocking me because his targets re-enter tapped.

Blinking Strionic resonator and any combination of mana rocks that produce 2 or more mana can abuse the stack for infinite blinks off 1 Brago attack when he connects with combat damage.

This combo can: Blink creatures with ETB effects like Venser to bounce an entire board or as stated above any of the Rishadans repeatedly causing players to sacrifice their entire board. Blink Archaeomancer as needed to retrieve counterspells, removal, search spells, and most importantly Time Warp for infinite turns.

Most of these combos cause players to scoop once an uninterrupted loop has been established.
