When playing Brago, King Eternal we will be focused on what all good rulers should be: Law and Order. Brago aims to shape the board state by creating new rules that will slow down our opponents and keep the drawback for us to a minimum.

EDH tends to be a lawless land where big splashy spells rule the day. Not this time. Grand Arbiter Augustin IV taxes our opponents while making our spells cheaper. Aura of Silence taxes artifacts and enchantments. Rishadan Footpad and Rishadan Cutpurse tax our opponents by forcing them to leave untapped mana. Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Tangle Wire will keep players honest when casting spells because if they go over the top their resources will be greatly limited on their next turn. Then we have Lavinia, Azorius Renegade who inhibits our opponents ability to cheat mana cost and use artifact ramp to cast things that aren't creatures.

Now obviously with all these taxes and new rules we have a plan to make us get richer while our opponents get poorer. Using Brago's ability we are going to abuse strong ETB effects to generate value and put us farther and farther ahead. Cloud of Faeries and Peregrine Drake will allows us to untap our lands when stax are preventing that. Wall of Omens will draw us cards while Elite Guardmage and Chrome Courier will do the same with the added bonus of life gain.

While Brago is the key value engine piece in our plan it would be foolish to not have a backup plan. That is why we brought some buddies who can act as replacements. Eldrazi Displacer, Displacer Kitten, and Thassa, Deep-Dwelling can help keep our head above water until we get Brago back out.

For removal we have some the typical spells in Swords to Plowshares. We also come equipped with some repeatable effects when the Brago engine is rolling. Venser, Shaper Savant, Skyclave Apparition, and Reality Acid can be abused with flicker effects to deal with whatever is deemed most detrimental to our plans.

Now we get to winning the game. We are very much centered around artifacts in our plan so we are going to use the duo of Trinket Mage and Tribute Mage so we can consistently find our best artifact ramp and stax pieces. Tezzeret the Seeker can also come down and go find us whatever we want. The main combo we are looking to pull off is as follows:

Brago, King Eternal triggered ability + Strionic Resonator + mana rocks that can produce at least 2 mana + Altar of the Brood/Venser, Shaper Savant/Reality Acid/Rishadan Cutpurse.

There are way more cards involved in this combo than I usually like to run, but honestly it doesn't matter. We can reliably get the pieces with our tutors and our stax technique is going to make our opponents scoop more often than not.
