Braids, Conjurer Adept can do some pretty busted things for you, but also for your opponents. If you try to break the symmetry of her effect (Vanishing or Paradox Haze), you'll certainly draw hate. Your opponents will reap her benefits and then you'll end up with nothing to show for your troubles by the time the turn comes back to you. Aside form being a hardcore control deck, I figured the best way to build around Braids was to embrace her symmetry; let your opponents play big things really fast (or maybe they just ramp a land out) then when it comes to your turn, Braids out a nice, but not necessarily threatening artifact and just go to town cloning the best thing on the table with a Clone or Stunt Double or Clever Impersonator.

The deck has 18 cloning and copying effects to take advantage of the best thing on the board that you allow your opponents to accelerate out. There are a number of big, impactful creatures to drop (Sphinx of Uthuun, Consecrated Sphinx, Quicksilver Gargantuan, and Keiga, the Tide Star), but no HUGE bois like Eldrazi titans; go too big too fast and your opponents will use their resources on you rather than each others' threats. The game is to be the second or third most threatening player at the table. Vedalken Orrery and Leyline of Anticipation lets you play a controlling role with your big dumb artifacts, while free counterspells like Foil, Force of Will, and Pact of Negation lets you protect important parts of your board state even after you've deployed them. Scroll Rack is a new addition I'm excited to try, using it on upkeep with the Braids trigger on the stack to find fresh targets for her ability. Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Darksteel Forge protect you from board wipes and countermagic.

You can probably win with other people's stuff, but in case the board gets too gummed up with big stupid things, there's a two-card combo in Timestream Navigator and Helm of the Host to take infinite turns (Timestream Navigator, Planar Bridge, and Lightning Greaves also works). Academy Ruins and Mindslaver is also an option, but less effective with multiple opponents.
