Because there are some misunderstandings about card interactions (although I don't see why), I'm going to explain the deck later today.

NIce deck man! (But your top rank was #17 on May 21st- although that may be including non-standard decks as well) Anyways, check out my new standard deck- let me know what you think, you might get some ideas from it.

Yah, that was the highest daily rank overall. For standard mono black, however, Brain Tap has edged into 2nd place. Not daily overall, but in actuality, overall.

And, thank you!

I'll check it out in a little bit :)

Where did you find these rankings? I can't seem to find the list for it.

@A12m994, as far as I'm aware there is no real "listing", per se, but all I did was use the advanced search engine and plot in parameters like: mono black; black; standard; score; descending. It's all right there :)

Created a new update about card synergy! Worth the read.

Yep. He'd be an excellent Sideboard. Alas, I have none and won't be buying any. Thanks fit the suggestion, though.!

Sorry, but why do you have Mana Confluence in the deck?

If you read the deck description I explain it in there. Basically, I have them in there to help cast cards exiled with Nightveil Specter . It works very well, too.

Actually, I put that in the latest update. Later today I'll fix that.

Hey, I was tweaking my deck, and I came back to your list to figure out what kind of removal set up I should have.

I've been having this big debate with myself over main board Doom Blade , or Ultimate Price

I see you don't have Ultimate Price at all, I was wondering what your thoughts were on this matter.

Somethings that I'm always scared about is drawing Devour Flesh or Bile Blight when I'd rather a blade, or a price.

Here is my deck if you'd like to check it out: Back in Black

I'd appreciate some feed back! Thanks!

Done :) But never underestimate Devour Flesh or Bile Blight . They've both helped me win rounds, often in conjunction.

Sideboard help!

I've been thinking about getting rid of Feast of Dreams in place of either Elixir of Immortality , Ultimate Price or Crypt Incursion . All obviously for going against different metas. I'm favouring Elixir of Immortality because out of all the metas I've faced, Esper Control gives me the biggest challenge.

Aaawww snap! I just acquired 4x Temple of Malice and 2x Rakdos's Return . What in the HELL do I take out? I'm thinking 2x Mind Rot . Yeah?

Updated the mainboard. Good bye, Mind Rot.

I just played a store employee (at a different venue than i go to) who I hear is an excellent player, and they're correct. I went 2-1 against his RUB deck, however, that utilizes it's own Master of the Feast , Dakra Mystic and Notion Thief as well as Desecration Demon , Pack Rats, and Rakdos's Return , just to name a few. First match I lost something with him having 7 life left. I then sideboarded in 4x Duress and 4x Dark Betrayal to take out 2x Devour Flesh , 2x Silence the Believers , 3x Bile Blight and the Rescue from the Underworld . I just realised I needed to make the kills faster, so I could cast a creature, yet leave a mana open. Easily took out his Desecration Demon and Master of the Feast the next 2 matches. Benefited from sacking a Gray Merchant of Asphodel only to bring it back with Whip of Erebos for a 32 point win after a Nightveil Specter drop. And I never even got to swing in for a life gaining 7 hit to the face. Third game I won with a life total of 27. Won with an x=5 Rakdos's Return , a Dark Betrayal to kill his Desecration Demon and swung in for the win with Master of the Feast .

Absolutely loving this deck!

I almost feel like throwing in 2x Armed / Dangerous . But I won't. It just sounds super for a 10 damage Master of the Feast or a 4 damage, exile 2 cards Nightveil Specter . So juicy, but I suppose that's more aggro and takes away from other cards that I need

Correction: 12 damage / 6 damage.

Added 2x Elixir of Immortality to Sideboard to help deal with Esper Control. Replenishes my countered /wiped permanents and all my nasty spells. And gaining 5 life ain't too bad.
