The basic strategy of this deck is simple. It uses draw spells to try and get the major combo of the deck, using Brain in a Jar to cast Rise from the Tides at instant speed at the end of my opponent's turn, so as to circumvent having tapped zombies. The other spells add a dash of control to stall my opponent and make sure I have a clear enough field, while my draw spells help....well, help me draw cards! While the main combo is the Brain in a Jar + Rise from the Tides combo, one the sideboard affords is Psychic Spiral + Rise of the Dark Realms . This lets me shuffle my graveyard into my library while forcing my opponent to mill cards and use Rise of the Dark Realms to hijack their creatures that are put into the graveyard this way. I wanted to add this to the deck, but I'm not sure what cards to replace.

I could really use a couple suggestions on how to improve the deck! My side and maybeboard mostly add control aspects to the deck, since most of the people in my local group are susceptible to them.

Another thing of note. This deck is based on one that Peter Vieren played at the Grand Prix Manchester. I've taken the liberty to base my deck on his.
