Maybeboard

Due to the deck going through many changes to adapt to a competitive environment the description is currently outdated. I will bring it up to speed once I have the deck in a more settled state. (This is finally being worked on)

While I have known about and played Magic in various ways, I have only really started owning my own cards when Commander 2015 was released. It was around this time when I bought a few packs of BFZ, opened Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and turned to a friend and asked "Is this good?". Ever since I have fallen in love with Eldrazi and just how powerful their affect on a game can be.

Bran Flakes is my attempt at something many people say just can't be done. Make colorless competitive. The deck has a very straight forward premise. Ramp your butt off, drop stax pieces and then drop a Kozilek, the Great Distortion to refill your hand. From there either start beating face or we combo off ourselves.

Being in colorless our options are much more limited, but I did my best to turn those limits in to assets. Somethings the deck does not rely on are creatures, the graveyard or casting multiple spells in a turn. As such the deck is filled with card like Cursed Totem, Relic of Progenitus and Sphere of Resistance. Admit-ably we do have a glaring weakness to Null Rod affects, but even that is not the end of the world.

Below you'll find an argument for the deck and the cards contained within. I'll do my best to provide some examples of hands as well. This includes the Turn 1 Win. To anyone that can pull it off I salute you.

Plan A:

So Plan A involves revolves around dropping an infinite mana combo and sink ASAP. Metalworker & Staff of Domination are probably the most direct route to this plan, but there are a few other. Cards to look out for include:

Paradox Engine, Rings of Brighthearth, Sensei's Divining Top, Voltaic Key, Strionic Resonator, Inventors' Fair, Ring of Three Wishes, Basalt Monolith

Plan B:

Plan B has changed quite a bit with the change of commander. I will update this eventually

So we're not always going to have the nut draw. In this case we're going going to go for a more balanced approach. This is honestly where we're going to be most games. Look to ramp, drop disruption along the way and either combo out or cast an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger.

Plan C:

Plan C has changed quite a bit with the change of commander. I will update this eventually

So should Plan A & B not align, our deck turns to Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. When going for Plan C we're going to need to ramp. We're gonna ramp hard. The sooner Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is cast the sooner we can remove our opponent's win cons. This "plan" is is fairly self explanatory. Look for as many mana positive rocks as possible.

Having to go do work related things. Content will be here soonTM
