Battlefield Thaumaturge is an obvious part of the theme because it lets you target all their creatures for or .
Willbreaker is the second part of the combo. It allows you to control their creatures when you target them.
Birds of Paradise+Noble Hierarch are great ways to ramp into an early Willbreaker
Fauna Shaman is a second way to get a Willbreaker or Battlefield Thaumaturge in case you didn't already draw one.
Spellskite is the best way to protect the combo and to make sure Willbreaker stays alive. It doubles as a way to make sure that boggles, burn, and infect never even have a chance.
The Spells
Launch the Fleet+ Glimpse the Sun God are self explanitory. They are the ways to take control of the game once you have Willbreaker.
Curse of the Swine is a bad removal spell when we are missing Willbreaker but when we have it we get to kill all their creatures and get that many pigs at the meager price of . Some people might say that it would be better to just gain control of all their creatures but with Curse of the Swine if Willbreaker dies then you keep the pigs which is a major boon against more controlling opponents.
Apostle's Blessing is the most versatile spell in the deck. It can be used to protect the combo but it could also be used to give evasion to a creature controlled by Willbreaker.
Lands
The only land worth explaining is Cavern of Souls. It may seem like it is a bad land in this deck but if you choose humans it allows you to make the combo uncounterable and gives you a multicolored land.
Display of Dominance is a great card against grixis because it can save a creature or serve as removal. It can even destroy a Lilliana of the Veil against jund.
Swan Song is a really good way to interfere with opposing removal. Be sure to side it in against sweepers and decks with very few creatures to control.
Leyline of Lifeforce is a way to get Willbreaker to resolve. Against decks like grixis control they will be saving their counterspells for Willbreaker and it is a gamewinner to be able to reolve it.
Mizzium Skin is another card to protect against removal and possibly better than Apostle's Blessing because it can protect everything not just one card.
-It can be useful to toss a Willbreaker or Battlefield Thaumaturge to a Fauna Shaman to get the other part of the combo or even a Spellskite (in a boggles, burn, or infect matchup only)
