I always enjoy the fact that this deck still gets +1s and comments after so long. I have thought about modernizing it, but have mostly resisted the urge for 2 reasons: 1, I really don't have the knowledge of modern to make this as powerful as it was in its time during standard and I don't want one of my favorite decks ever to falter in its glory. 2, the deck has gotten so much attention on the site, I enjoy leaving it in its final complete for just the way it was before rotation, so that the people who do still enjoy it see it for what it truly was.
If I do modernize it, it'll take some time and I will create a separate decklist here on the site

Could you take a look at my simic deck? It's pretty similar to this one. Here's the link: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/lots-of-counters-just-not-control/

Dude, I need to ask you a question: If Kruphix, God of Horizons Would enter the battlefield without enough devotion to be a creature, would he trigger evolve creature? (For example Cloudfin Raptor)

@_Budgetlover nah, if he enters with less than 7 devotion then I believe he enters as an enchantment. I could be wrong though

Plasm Capture is great and all, but why not go for Fuel for the Cause?
Predator Ooze is also a great choice, as one board wipe would DESTROY this deck.
Finally, consider Hooded Hydra. It comboes scarily with Master Biomancer, and your opponent will be afraid to board wipe you because of what they're about to face.
I have a deck similar in function to this (sadly, it doesn't contain Kalonian Hydra). It ramps things up almost as quickly as yours, though it's harder to counter.

Oh, and let me just mention that Proliferate works on planeswalkers...
Yeah, how about ulting Kiora, the Crashing Wave EVERY SINGLE TURN?! YEAH, YOU CAN DO THAT!

The total came out to $149.22 after replacing a few things to make it a little cheaper

No renegade krasis or fuel for the cause? I think those would work better then master biomancer. I can't even get a counter on biomancer after 20 games.

Biomancer doesn't necessarily have to have counters though. Renegade Krasis was originally in, but wasn't necessary. Now. I don't make changes. This deck was a standard deck, and is very much retired. It was extremely popular though, so I like leaving it up for people to see

Personally I put nylea in and havnt had any trouble with her devotion to become a creature. I also put the renegade krasis back in and fuel for the cause. My main focus was to make it a little faster and keep the tempo up. I added in polukranos to see how that works out. Still an awesome deck I think though.

Works really well with the "enters the battlefield" triggers. Double the efficiency of your master biomancers

If you do modern-ize this deck I would have to say that Isochron Scepter + Simic Charm would be the way to go mpeach1
